I think we are amidst a paradigm shift when it comes to architectural and interior design. A. Now that architecture and interior design, being comparatively a young profession compared to others (and/or neighboring countries) is digging its roots deeper, we are witnessing more radical works around us. B. Also, because people are becoming more conscious of their need for aesthetics in their spaces; their expectations and tastes are rapidly evolving (which drives us designers to deliver better works). So, I think the interior scene in Bangladesh at the moment is under a rapid evolution process.

Dr. Yasmeen Lari, the renowned architect and humanitarian from Pakistan, recently delivered an inspiring speech and presentation at the Angan Lecture Series in Dhaka, held from December 22 to 25. Hosted by BRAC University, the event offered a truly enriching experience.
In addition to her lecture, Dr. Lari also conducted an exclusive Winter School for students, sharing her visionary insights and groundbreaking work in sustainable architecture and community development. We are grateful to have been a part of the Angan Lecture Series, where Dr. Yasmeen Lari’s powerful message of sustainable architecture was shared with the world.
