Centar za društvena istraživanja je organizaciona jedinica visokoškolske ustanove Internacionalnog Burč univerziteta osnovan 2013. godine sa osnovnim ciljem pružanja podrške naučnoistraživačkog rada u oblasti društvenih nauka. Centar je specijaliziran za obavljanje naučno-istraživačke, ekspertsko-konsultativne i izdavačke djelatnosti. Osnovna ideja Centra je da nezavisnim i objektivnim istraživanj
ima i analizama u oblasti društvenih nauka, odnosno društvenih fenomena i problema, stručnoj, naučnoj i široj javnosti pruži uvid u suštinu određenog problema, njegovog nastanka, razvoja, ukaže na posljedice istog, te u konačnici ponudi prijedlog za njegovo rješenje. Pored navedenog, težnje Centra su usmjerene ka afirmisanju Centra u mjesto sastajanja i saradnje naučnih radnika Bosne i Hercegovine i regiona. Djelatnost Centra se provodi kroz istraživački rad, organizaciju samostalnih i partnerskih konferencija, seminara, simpozijuma i diskusija, a prezentacija rezultata kroz izdavaštvo, serijske i periodične publikacije, naučni i stručni časopis, prikaze i tekstove autora iz oblasti društvenih nauka. U organizacijskom smislu Centar svoje aktivnosti provodi kroz pojedine odjele. Trenutno u sastavu Centra djeluje Odjel za pravna istraživanja, a u budućnosti će svoj razvoj usmjeriti i ka drugim oblastima društvenih nauka.

Social Science Research Center is an organizational unit of the International Burch University established in 2013 with the main purpose of providing assistance and aid to scientific research in the field of social science. The Center is specialized in performing scientific research, expert-consulting and publishing activities. The Basic idea of the Center is to provide insight with an independent and objective research and analyses in the field of social science, social phenomena and issues to a professional, scientific and broader public by defining the essence on a particular issue, its origins and development, indicate the consequences of the same, and at the end suggest solutions to the problem. In addition, the goals of the Center are to affirm the Center as a place of meeting and cooperation between scientists and experts in Bosnia and Hercegovina as well as the region. The activities of the Center are conducted through research, organization of independent and partner conferences, seminars, simpoziums and discussion while presenting the results through publishing, serial and periodical publications, scientific and professional journal, papers and result displays from the field of social science. In organizational terms the Center conducts its activities through particular departments. Currently, within the organization structure of the Center is the department of legal research, while in the future the attention will be directed to other fields of social science.
