I’m excited to announce a new platform that will give young Arubans the opportunity to voice out their concerns and their vision for Aruba: ‘FACE THE FUTURE.’
Now that I’ve been leading projects and initiatives directly correlated with the youth in Aruba, and being fortunate enough to participate in ‘Vota pa ken’ in the 2021 elections, I’m combining these two set of skills and experiences to bring something that is very much needed in Aruba.
FACE THE FUTURE will be an online series consisting of 12 episodes, where ten local students (currently living in Aruba or studying abroad) will have the opportunity to share their ideas, questions or concerns directly with a politician in a debate format.
FACE THE FUTURE will provide the younger generation with a platform to communicate the real problems and questions that they might have and the opportunity to be heard and be taken seriously by those who have the power to make the changes happen.
This series will be available starting October 28th on the Self-Making pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tiktok.
We are still accepting student applicants to participate in this show as well as corporate or commercial partners and sponsors to help make this much needed platform a reality.
We’re ready to make things happen!
