Tune in Wild Horse FM to meet Glenn Jones, or Jonesy as he is known, on Shoot the Breeze, tomorrow morning at 9:00am.
Jonesy is a bush balladeer, a poet and a very funny bloke. He is just as comfortable performing at regional and interstate music festivals, as he is playing and singing to the locals in country pubs.
He is an insightful observer of people, and he writes songs of his life experiences both sensitively and powerfully. Jonesy is a laconic, knockabout bloke with a warm wit and ready smile.

This is the transformer coming into the power station. Apparently they didn't have any issues on the bends of the Cooyar Range as the front and rear steering carriages are so amazing! Here's some numbers: Total weight 600 tonnes Weight of transformer (in container in the middle) 240 tonnes Total length 130m Steering carriages - the flatbeds at either end of the load - each one has 24 axles. The carriage driver is in a cab at the back of the second carriage and he could steer each of the axles individually! That's how they get around the tight corners. Great job to all the drivers and crew involved. (sorry not brilliant quality video) 🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🤪
