Hey My Goulburn and Crookwell Families, Students & Friends !! This weekend is very special, as it's the Crookwell Country Weekend ! Even more exciting for me, as I'll be there busking in the Main street of Crookwell, out the front of Matts Bakery and Cafe' (Thanks Matt!) At 9am Sharp this Saturday Morning!

It would be so So SO good to see you all again. There are heaps of buskers along the strip, there will be a street parade, and more busking, where you will find me at 11am (same day) out the front of the Crookwell Church which is their (AMPHITHEATRE) !

I'm so excited, please drive safely, bring a hat and sunscreen and enjoy the music over the massive weekend :) come and say Hi!! It's been too long! Xx

Congratulations to you Kath Dunn, on all you have accomplished in your teaching career. 24 years of teaching, and the last 6 as an incredibly encouraging music teacher to many students. It was an absolute privilege to work with you, during my time teaching my guitar and vocal students at Wollondilly Public School, especially because you were also my year ONE class teacher. You were definitely a favourite of mine back then and still today, you've shown commitment and love for what you do and toward your students education. Your passion and dedication has beamed through, as you have now been elected as one of 4 music teachers in Australia to be nominated for the 22 ARIA Teachers Music award. Very proud of your work and so glad it has been acknowledged on this massive scale. 🎹🎶🥁🎶

Awesome story!

I knew from this age how much I loved music. This right here, was my entry in to sound, recording, making music and listening to the creations.

With this, I discovered how I could record music, and make my own mix tapes... I discovered that when I held the attached microphone right to the speaker of a radio, I could record a whole song on to my own cassette. I then used a cassette player and put certain tapes in, to choose songs for my mixtapes and repeat the process.

The first mixtape I made was for my Mum, I even drew the album art and placed it in the case.. a drawing of the moon with clouds over shadowing, titled accordingly... (______*something*_____ Moonlight) unfortunately I can't remember the full album title, but it contained the likes of Savage Garden to "Evergreen" - Barbara Streisand to Ferry Cross the Mersey! - Gerry and the Pacemakers.... I loved this thing. What a wonderful gift to have been given all those years ago.
