Dundee Beach, NT. Really enjoyed our stay here - awesome little park and great tavern 😍😃 Met some really lovely people that we will hopefully catch up with again on the road. Said goodbye to our travel mates Nat & Jae. 😢 Sad to go out different ways but know we will see them again in our respective hometowns. Some of the family flew up to meet us and we had an action packed week of water parks, markets, seafood dinners, deckchair cinema, epic sunsets, fishing and crocodiles! Daly Waters Pub… a great little spot to stay and soak up the history and odd ball nature of this little area. Great little pub, collectables and array of animals wandering around. We were greeted daily by free roaming buffalo, horses, donkeys and chickens… Creasy and Bear weren’t too sure at first but grew accustomed to the new neighbours! 😂

Kings Canyon….WOW!!! 🤩🤩🤩
We crossed a border !! Excited to see the new landscape we made a bee line to Kings Canyon… (having been to Uluru a couple of years ago). We did the Kings Canyon Rim walk separately taking turns to hang with Creasy & Bear. It did not disappoint - just stunning! Amazing colours and textures and landscape.

William Creek Hotel, SA. Enjoyed a pit stop at this iconic spot along the Oodnadatta Track. Creasy made himself at home in the front bar (some might say he takes after Ben!😂🤣). Despite the warning sign we didn’t see any low flying budgies on the golf course! 🤣

Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary - The Oodnadatta Track - Farina and Coward Springs, SA.
Continued to explore the Flinders Ranges at Arkaroola where we watched the yellow footed rock wallabies come in for dinner each night and do some star gazing. Trekked out to the historic town of Farina but sadly we missed the bakery opening (it’s run by volunteers and only open 3 months of the year). Met the local artist Talc Alf who is a real character. Hit the Oodnadatta Track and had a well needed pit stop at Coward Springs where we enjoyed the farm fresh date scones and warm thermal pool

North Blinman and Parachilna, SA
Did our first pub stay at North Blinman Hotel. Really enjoyed the old mine tour. This little town used to be a large mining community but now the population is about 28.
Day trip to the Prarie Hotel in Parachilna for their famous ‘road kill’ menu - was quite tasty!!

We went to the Flinders Rangers, SA a few weeks back now… WOW! This was something special. Had a brilliant stay at Mt Little Station where we got to fed the animals and watch a bit of the Aurora whilst having wood fired pizza for dinner. Walking the gorges and Ben even took a dip. 4WDing and walks. Creasy and Bear immersed themselves in the land - literally becoming red dogs rolling around in all the dirt 😂

The Clare Valley has been on our bucket list for a long time. We visited the cellar door of one of our favourite riesling wines - Pikes. Had a tasting at Shut The Gate (we have driven past their other cellar door in Berridale NSW many times on the way to the snow so it was great to finally try some of their wines!). Took the bikes for a ride on the Riesling Trail for the most amazing lunch at Skillogalee Estate

Port Noralunga and Adelaide Hills… had to head back to the big smoke for car/van/vets etc so took the opportunity to explore these areas in more detail. Loved the private tasting and lamb roast (Thanks Guys!). We really got into the craft beers, seltzers and community spirit at The Chubby Unicorn tasting at Bird in Hand and Ben even got a night out of the caravan to stay in a hotel and watch the AFL (Thanks Danny Jansen!!)ie

Magical sunsets, fishing, oysters and one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen (Gallipoli beach -where they filmed the Mel Gibson movie!) Had the best oysters from Pristine Oyster Farm and also enjoyed the oyster tour at Oyster HQ.
