I’m excited to announce I’ll be DJing at Kembla Heights Bowling Club to welcome 2025 with an incredible night of music and celebration! After a year of reworking my music collection and performing for amazing crowds, I’m ready to bring the ultimate party to close out 2024 in style. Wonder if I should bring the Leggy to toast in 2025?

What to Expect:
A mix of tracks spanning decades and genres—perfect for all age groups!
A high-energy vibe with an awesome light and sound setup.
Kids Welcome, Families are invited to join the fun from 7PM to 9PM, Food Options, The bistro will be closed, but feel free to bring your own food or platters. Some platters may also be available on the night.
This year has been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful to have met and performed for so many fun and welcoming people. Let’s finish the year on a high and start 2025 with a bang! My goal is to DJ for 1,000 people at a single event by the end of 2025—let’s make it happen together!

I’m so excited to wrap up the year DJing at Kembla Heights Bowling Club this New Year’s Eve, from 7 PM to 1 AM. It’s going to be a celebration for the ages, with beats from the past and present. Kids are welcome from 7 PM to 9 PM – come bring the whole family!

This year has been a journey for me, and I’ve met so many amazing people along the way. I’ve been able to share my love of music while also being open about my struggles with mental health. It’s been a big year – from the Disability Trust 50th Anniversary to the UNI Law Ball, I’ve played events close to 300 people. And the journey doesn’t stop here. I’ve got big goals for 2025!

Looking forward to seeing you there – let’s make it a night to remember!

My Journey, My Music, My Passion

This year has been one of transformation. I started my DJ career many years ago, not just to play music, but to cope with the mental and emotional struggles I’ve faced since my amputation. It’s been a battle with depression and anxiety, but music has been my therapy. It’s how I’ve gotten out into the community, met incredible people, and shared moments of joy with all of you.

From DJing at the Disability Trust 50th Anniversary, UNI Law Ball, and countless weddings and parties, to performing at amazing venues like Pepe’s On The Beach, Towradgi Beach Hotel, Denham Court, Spirits of Newtown, and Cauliflower Hotel, I’ve seen firsthand the power of music. And let’s not forget getting 2nd place in my first DJ competition – another milestone in this amazing journey.

I’m truly grateful for the support I’ve received this year, especially from my close friends and my partner of 30 years, Emily, who has been my rock through all the ups and downs. She never gave up on me, even when I struggled the most.

Looking ahead, in 2025, my goal is to play for a crowd of at least 1,000 people, and I know the universe will make it happen. With bookings already coming in for next year, I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. It means the world to me when people give me a follow and tag me in their posts, thanks for helping me on my journey.

If you’ve been following my story, or if you’re struggling yourself, don’t be afraid to reach out. I still have my struggles, but doing what I love has truly helped me. You’re not alone, and I hope my journey can inspire you to keep going.

Beyond the decks and beats, my heart has been racing down another trail for nearly 30 years—mountain biking!

The journey hasn't been without its hurdles, especially since becoming an amputee. But, just like DJing, mountain biking has been instrumental in helping me navigate the ups and downs of mental health. While I might not hit the trails as hard as before, the love for MTB continues to bring joy, adventure, and a wonderful community into my life.

I'm grateful to have been sponsored by Specialized and Camden Cycles, and to have founded the "Ability To Ride" program, where we've empowered many amputees and those battling mental health challenges to experience the thrill of biking with Specialized Turbo Levos.

One of my most memorable adventures was tackling the White Rim Trail in Utah—a 160-kilometer challenge—with an inspiring group of individuals with limb differences. I had the privilege of meeting Mike Sinyard, the founder of Specialized, and sharing this journey with incredible friends from the National Ability Centre and Osseointegration International.

Creating the "Tread Setters" documentary was a team effort, and I'm so thankful for the support of Louis, our talented director and filmmaker, along with my amazing collaborators Annijke Wade, Josie Fouts, and Steven Wilke. Your dedication made this project truly special.

Losing part of my leg was tough, but in a way, it was like winning the golden ticket to W***y Wonka's amazing world. If that hadn't happened, I might have missed out on these incredible experiences. The universe has a funny way of surprising us, and sometimes good things truly do emerge from the darkest places. As Einstein famously said, for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. Something good has to come
from something bad!

Life can be challenging, but finding a reason to get up each day is crucial. Invest in those who invest in you, volunteer, and choose joy. Check out our journey in the "Tread Setters" documentary link below.
