Where the magic happens...or not, as is currently the case.

I just can't seem to find the time to get the final formatting done on my upcoming novel, SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST. My sincerest apologies at the delay. I can only continue to try and pass this final hurdle and get this book out to all of you. As always, I'll keep you posted.

Apologies for the delay in getting CROSSFIRE ( #3 in The Wraith Dread Avenger of the Underworld series of books) available to buy in its new Glowing Eyes Media branded edition. The original file was partially corrupted (somehow), and thus requires a great deal of reformatting to get it back into printable shape. But, I'll try and get it published before the end of the year.

Set the date...SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST, the newest book in The Wraith Dread Avenger of the Underworld series, will be available to buy on 1 August 2024. Written by myself and my co-writer Ray MacKay, this story of intrigue, horror and spine-tingling action, will thrill lovers of action adventure, fantasy, pulp novels and superheroes alike. Fans of The Wraith--rejoice! Another book is just on the horizon (with a second book, LADY WRAITH, just round the corner).

SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST will be available to buy both direct from me (autographed) and from Amazon, Barnes & Noble et al (unsigned). Stay tuned for further updates.

LADY WRAITH is now completed and off to my editor. He's working on SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST first, then LADY WRAITH to follow. Once he's done, I'll have to go through both manuscripts and make the requisite changes, then I'll have to format both ready for publication. Still a little ways to go, but we're getting there.

Both novels will be ready to buy by the middle of the year, available everywhere (signed copies only available direct from me, as always).

Editing the LADY WRAITH manuscript has slowed in the last week or so. I hope to be able to do a small amount of work on it on Monday and Tuesday, then (hopefully) finish it off the following weekend. We'll see. I believe the book has turned out well. Hope readers feel the same.

I'm about halfway through reviewing the LADY WRAITH novel manuscript before I send it away for professional editing. So far so good, I'm happy with what I'm reading. 👍👌🤞

And that's a wrap. I just a few minutes ago finished the LADY WRAITH novel. I don't mind saying, this was a tough one, but I think it turned out okay. I'm feeling good about it. I'll spend the next week or so checking the manuscript, then it's off to my editor in preparation for publication.

Work on chapter 14 of LADY WRAITH has started, and it should (hopefully) be an action-packed, explosive finale. Then an epilogue and we can call it a day. Another week, maybe, and this one will be done.

Just a quick update to let everyone here know that I'll soon be launching a new online webstore for all Glowing Eyes Media products sold direct from me (autographed books, comics, The Wraith maquette etc.) This new store will:

- Allow you to create an account with the store, or to checkout as a guest.
- It will show items priced in the default Australian dollar--$AUD--setting, but will also allow you to see what the cost is in your home currency if you click the Translate button at the top of the screen.
- Low shipping costs, which varies slightly with the amount/value you purchase (orders of $80AUD + will feature FREE SHIPPING).
- Allow you to leave a review for each item.
- Payments can be broken up into installments using the Afterpay feature.
- As always, we ship worldwide.

Chapter 12 of LADY WRAITH is now done and chapter 13 has commenced. I've reached the countdown to the grand finale. Book won't be super long (mine never are). The first draft was longer, but unfortunately, the finale of that one wasn't much use to me as it was written, and of less use to me once I'd gone through and made the changes that needed to be made earlier in the manuscript. All good, the overall story is all the better for it. Looking forward to finishing this off soon (a couple weeks, maybe, at a guess) and sending it off to my editor.

I was able to start work on chapter 11 of LADY WRAITH yesterday, and the story took an unexpected turn. Always fascinating when things like that happen.

Despite having only had a couple hours sleep last night, due to working through the night trying to finish my wife's renouncement tax return (it's still not finished btw nearly 24 hours later!), I still managed to get back to work on LADY WRAITH today. I'm aiming to at least finish with chapter 10 today.

Nothing beats the sense of satisfaction at finishing a book. Ray MacKay and I have crafted a great story for you all. But as I sit here, enjoying the feeling, I suddenly realised...I have another book to complete, a more complicated, difficult task. LADY WRAITH awaits...

And that's a wrap. My work on the novel SWAMP WITCH OF SATAN'S FOREST is just about done. I'll spend the weekend giving the manuscript a final once over before handing it on to my editor, but the writing work is now done. I can't wait for you all to read it 🤗
