Shout out to this badass ADHD entrepreneur who - like me - was diagnosed late in her 20’s and threw herself in to starting her own business. 🌪️🧠🌶️


I was her lash & brow client for years in Townsville - you can thank Taylah for my tattooed brows still looking so good✌️
We clicked so well (𝙩𝙮𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙥𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙 🤪) bonded over Vietnamese iced coffee and mental health rants, 💡we talked and talked about her business ideas, the name, the branding, socials…then in a twist of fate 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 and we had a fun AF content session before she moved in to her very own salon space and right before I left Townsville. 📸🥹

♊️Today is her birthday and it’s also been a whole ass year since she opened her salon.🪞

She deserves a huge HYPE up for the way she moves forward through all of the intense challenges that come with being an ADHD woman in business!!! It’s literally never easy but finding your people who relate to your exact struggles makes it feel easier 👏

I will celebrate and support neurospicy business girlies til the day I die. ☠️

Finally an app drop that didn’t catch social media managers off guard because Instagram did actually give us a heads up about this one coming 😂😂

In our honest opinion, it’s basic but absolutely does the job, and is a smooth process to share to Insta. We love linked accounts that don’t require multiple log ins!

Feels user friendly for all experience levels.

I dropped the news to my email list giving them the goss first about my move to Wollongong! 🌊

This is mine and my partners 3rd state in 3 years, having moved from WA to North Queensland for his work 3 years ago and now radio spouse life strikes again - thankfully taking me the opposite direction to crocodiles this time 🚫🐊

The realities that many women in business face on the daily of carrying a huge mental load, wearing all the hats. 👒 JUST IN MY TEAM ALONE there’s been so much stacked against us: serious health conditions, mental health issues, SA, DV, coercive control, teen pregnancy, miscarriage, lack of family support, financial abuse, poverty and homelessness, late diagnosed ADHD, many misdiagnosis and medical gaslighting experiences… sadly, I don’t personally know ANY woman who has NOT experienced something on this list, but I know a lot of men who haven’t.

Now imagine trying to run a business with those odds stacked against you. 👀 🤯
