One of the greatest recording Walkmans of all time! The Sony WM-6D was released in 1982 and stayed in production until 1984 when it was replaced by the more common WM-6DC.

We are looking for one or two people to join our small team.  Please send a cover letter and resume to

We are looking for a motivated team player to assist us with our day to day workload here at our Warehouse premises at West Gosford.

Duties would include but are not limited to general warehousing and logistics, picking and packing sales items, as well as testing and processing all sorts of gear from guitars and pedals, to synths, tape machines, turntables and more.

The job is flexible and could suit someone looking for full time work, or someone looking to pick up a couple of extra shifts during week.

If you don’t have all of the following skills below, but still feel like you would like this opportunity, please do apply. Training will be provided for the right people.

Qualities we are looking for: 
- Takes pride their work.
- Reliability.
- Honesty.
- Great communication skills and ablility to ask questions.
- Able to take direction.
- Team player and respectful of other staff members.
- Attention to detail.
- Interest in Audio and related technology

These skills are important: 
- Basic signal flow knowledge.
- Passion for hardware (old or new) and basic knowledge of different kinds gear.
- Basic knowledge about AC and DC power and power supplies. 

These skills are not a must, but any would be a bonus: 
- Basic to advanced soldering skills
- Basic to advanced experience with disassembly and reassembly of any electronics.
- Social media knowledge, creating engaging posts and content.
- Some experience in E-commerce or online business

The 414 is part of Tascam’s popular Portastudio range. These multitrack recorders were aimed at the home producers, looking for something to capture their ideas and demos onto.

Although the cassette tape lost its popularity many years ago, with a resurgence of all things vintage and analogue, their grainy, lo-fi sound has become sort after once again.

These little Tascams have been popping up more and more in photos of home studios on instagram. Many modern users have been incorporating them into the digital set up for the sound of the analoge mic pre, tape looping and even to use the mixer and EQ! Notable users of the Portastudio range include Bootsy Collins, Lou Reed, Madlib, Wu-Tang Clan, and Lady Gaga!

They certainly don't last long on the shelves here! This week we have a Tascam Porta Two and two 464s (Which sound particularly good) ready to list online. Keep an eye out on our website or get in contact for more information.

The Moog Source was released in 1981. This monophonic beauty was the first synth released by Moog which had patch memory. It also features a simple sequencer, arpeggiator, two analogue oscillators and the famous 24 dB Moog filter!
