You asked for it - and it's finally here! We're trialling our first ever Video Game Design Class in term 1 next year. Across Term 1, you’ll become part of a real development team, working together to build your very own video game from the ground up.

Aimed at grades 7-12, each student will take on a role that suits their interests – whether that’s coding gameplay, crafting the story, designing characters and environments, creating artwork, producing sound, or composing original music.

Presenting: our DJ lineup for Saturday! On the decks during the day we'll have InHarmonicity, J4CKALOPE, Kezadeeya, and Louis all spinning the latest and greatest jams for dancing and hanging out. Join Kezadeeya at 1pm for a free hulahooping session too! DJs J4CKALOPE and Louis appear on behalf of the awesome Amplify!

Music starts at 10:30am and carries all the way to a 2pm finish. Get amongst it!

Hey super sprouts, this Saturday 13th of December come on down to the Fletcher Jones garden and hang out with me and Super Moon!
There will be markets, and Santa AND I will be doing some fun imaginative play from 11:30am!
The event kicks off at 10am!

In term 4 we spent some time at Cobden Technical School, where part of their projects was to make a miniature scene of their choosing - motorbikes and outdoors featured heavily! They worked on their miniatures for 3 weeks, and last week had some time in the photo studio with Greta to light up photograph their final work! Pretty cool what you can do with an LED light and smoke machine.

Ho ho ho! We just received a letter from the North Pole letting us know that our special guest is confirmed! Santa will be visiting the Christmas Studio Jam Youth Market somewhere between 10am and 11am! If you want to see our jolly red friend, make sure you're here in time! He's a very busy fella, and won't stay for long!

The Christmas Flavoured Studio Jam Party is taking off! Take a look at our awesome stallholders (so far!), as well as a ton of fun activities available on the day. Make some art with Deakin Seaweed, party with Super Jenny, dance to some local youth DJ tunes, or chill out with an ice cream. More to be announced - make sure you RSVP!
