🎉 Pocket Park Sparkles! ✨

We’re excited to share that the final stage of the Wandoan StreetScapes Project is complete, with the installation and switch-on of beautiful fairy lights in Pocket Park! 🌟

This project, and the many others completed as part of Wandoan StreetScapes, has truly transformed our town, boosting its charm, appeal, and creating spaces that locals and visitors alike can enjoy. 🌼🏡

A huge thank you to:
🙏 Shell QGC for funding this incredible initiative,
👏 Scott Alston from MAK Planning for his dedicated project management, and
💪 Luke Scarlet and MPC Contracting for bringing the magic to life with the fairy lights.

CLOSING SUNDAY: Community Feedback – Bungaban Wind Farm Connection Project

Community feedback is sought regarding transmission line connection options for the proposed Bungaban Wind Farm, 40km north-east of Wandoan.
Feedback closes 15 December 2024.

Renewable energy company, Windlab, has engaged Powerlink to investigate transmission line connection options for their proposed Bungaban Wind Farm.

Huge thankyou to the community members who attended the official turning on of the Shell QGC Funded Fairy Light Display in Pocket Park last night.
We had the privilege of having Margaret Sattler switch them on, as she was involved in planting the tree 40 odd years ago.
This was part of the Shell QGC Streetscapes Project.

The long-awaited fairy light installation in Pocket Park has been completed.
Come join us as we turn them on, light refreshments will be supplied.
6:45pm for the lights to be turned on at 7pm.
