🎯 The paper focuses on the content of Unit 3, Informal and Formal Language, and follows the format of the 2024 VCAA English Language paper. It does not require students to have completed Unit 4.

🎯 Amongst other things, the Section B text is useful for testing students’ grasp of the Discourse and pragmatics metalanguage, especially in relation to topic management and turn-taking strategies.

English and EAL practice exams now available!
This year we are bundling together the English and EAL papers, instead of selling them in separate packages. The English and EAL exams are similar but not identical, as is the case for the VCAA exams. We have held the cost at the 2024 price and included answer books for each subject as well.

BBE Literature sets are developed by experienced VCAA assessors.
They follow the format for questions shown in the 2024 sample examination paper. We provide page references and the opening and concluding sentences for the passages for close analysis, using the edition specified in the VCAA Literature Text List.
Teachers will need to source the passages to insert into the exam paper. Each set includes the task instructions and examination criteria, as they appear in the VCE Literature exam.
