Been a bit of Hezza Slayin south of Esperance and for once the weather down here has been bloody lovely 👌👌. Some salmon schools have also been hangin around and migrating north too. Grabbed some Abalone yesterday so it's a monster feast tonight!

On that note it's less than 7 weeks from the Hezza World Championship in Walpole W.A.! We'll be putting out another info sheet with details on Fb land in the next week.

March 15th-16th, Colemine Beach, $10 entry and winner takes all and is crowned World Champion!! 🐟🤺

Aaaaaand we are back on the road!!! After 4 months of charity, shutdowns, surgery, repairs, friends and family time it's so good to hook thee ole girl back up, strap on tinny and punch it east!!

Found a lovely little free camp in the wheatbelt on our way down near Esperance for the first leg. Started the day with 41c hot and sticky to end with a thunderstorm and 20c. Premo 👌

Busselton Jetty is one of my favourite places to dive, so so relaxing, easy access, always something new to see and heaps of fish life. New sculptures were great to check out too 👍. If your ever in the Southwest of W.A. definitely give it look!

Happy New Year Team!! Hope everyone got some time off (or pulled a few sickies) to kick back with mates!
Been awhile since we got into some Hezza's but was great to get back out on the water after good ole Covid hit both of us for a coupla weeks.
We knew before going that the wind was going to s**tty but you just have to embrace it!
A Massive Thanks to everyone who supports us, follows our journey, comments and flicks us suggestions and places to visit! Also everyone who has sent us parcels and all of the Snake donations through 2023 and beyond, we appreciate it so so much!!

2024 is rolling out to be our biggest year yet, we start trekking east in less than 2 weeks, can't wait!!

We embraced 30knot winds on the Blackwood River to duck out and grab a feed for dinner.
Kel hit best on ground...again 😅
Nice little mixed bag of Hezza's, Yellowfin Whiting and a Flatty. Also let go Salmon Trout, Skippy and Tailor and a bunch of small Pinkies. Is great to see such a healthy eco system in the southwest.

Thee ole Viscount has crap everywhere at the moment! Between Rod building and doing the 20L freezer install and it's a s**t show!
Trial fit of the freezer looks like it will be a goer 🙌👌, will weld up the slide today and re-make some of the structure that I had to rip out.
Will also run power down to the freezer to fit a 12v socket. Everything fits with 5mm spare!! 😬

Working on a couple of rods, both are from Rainshaddow RX6 Blanks and using Alps Aluminium reel seats from the US.

We'll be testing out these Rainshaddow blanks over the next few months as we punch down the through South Oz and get amongst some action!! 🐟🤺

In between work we did another market for the raffle at the Old Coast Rd Brewery which was a great turnout and has pushed us over $7,000 raised so far! We'll be at the 4wd & Adventure show this weekend and draw the raffle the weekend after 👍👍

First Baggout for the season 🦞🤺! So good to jump in the blue with Wayno and Azza and slay a few crays.
Had to work hard to find em but in the end an old faithful honey hole bought us home. We'll be feasting like kings tonight!

Video uploads have been a bit all over the show last few weeks, we have been busy with all the raffle stuff, I'm back working on a shutdown for a coupla months in the south and Kel is recovering from an operation. She's on the mend now and will just have to rest up for a few weeks 👍.
On a side note we have just entered our 3rd year on the road as Gypsy's!! Big thanks to everyone who supports our travels, sends messages and advice....and snakes😋! Big shout out to our parents who help us so so much also.

Episode just landed, Kel got a surprise visit from her olds who came to visit us for a few days which was epic to catch up with them! The Hezza Slayin World Champ nearly lands a Giant Herring and we fire up the rotisserie!
