OUT NOW! It’s game day for Will Magnay and the Tasmania JackJumpers and for our OCTOBER edition! This month we had a great chat with Will off the back of his run with the Australian Boomers and as the JackJumpers head into their title defence for season 24/25 of the NBL. It was great hearing all about his childhood spent as a rugby player, his journey to the Olympics with Jack McVeigh and how the fans spur them on during the games.

We also learnt all about how scientist Roxane Bandini-Maeder of Geoneon is using AI to assess disaster risk and delve into the paranormal ahead of Halloween later this month with Sharmaine Mansfield from Tasmania's Most Haunted.

It’s part of a partnership this month with University of Tasmania, centred on their status as #1 for climate action globally.

We are pleased to announce that the Nipaluna/Hobart Latin American Film Festival returns once again in 2023. We will have a wonderful opening celebrating the Embassy/host country Colombia with the film Los Ajenos Fútbol Club (and with films from Mexico and Guatemala) this Saturday, November 11th, followed by screenings the following 3 weekends: November 18th, 24th, 25th and December 2nd. All screenings are free and all films will have English subtitles.
