This week, we had the privilege of attending the Strong Women For Healthy Country Network
Annual Forum at Crab Claw Island Resort in the NT, where 250 proud, strong Indigenous women rangers came together. It was inspiring to hear from Selena Uibo, the Territory Labor leader and the first Aboriginal woman to lead a major party in Australia.

The forum provided an incredible opportunity to connect, share stories, and celebrate the amazing work our female Indigenous rangers are doing across the Territory to protect and care for Country.

Feeling so proud and grateful to be part of this journey! ✊🏽✨

Today on National Sorry Day, we pause to acknowledge the profound grief, suffering, and loss experienced by the Stolen Generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It's a day for reflection, understanding, and a commitment to healing. We recognise the injustices of the past including the forced removal of children from their families and their culture, and honour the resilience and strength of those who have endured and continue to endure these hardships. Let us educate ourselves, listen to the stories of the survivors, and support efforts towards reconciliation.

As we approach the festive season, we understand that this time of year can be challenging for some members of our community. With that in mind, we want to ensure that everyone has access to the support they may need, especially in case of hardship or urgent assistance.
Attached is a list of emergency services and their opening hours during the Christmas period for the Busselton and Dunsborough areas. Please feel free to share this information with anyone you think may benefit from it.
Wishing you a safe and peaceful holiday season.
