've been racing in many forms for 35 years. Karting, Push Bikes, Motorbikes, RC Cars, Slot Cars, and so on.

I have just retired from competitive Sim racing.

When your get older, overlooked for big races even though you are still plenty quick enough without putting in the effort.

Things just seem to never go your way, and it becomes frustrating and upsetting it's time to hang up the virtual helmet.

Been a great ride. I'm proud of the things I have achieved, to run consistently in the top ten in the V8 scops series, be a co-driver with one of the world's best, and Won big international races like Daytona 24h in the top euro split.

Thanks to all the sponsors and teammates I have had over the years.

Things may change in the future but for now, this is it.

Was asked if I could fill an empty seat the team had for the V8SCOPS Bathurst 1000

Only the top 50 fastest get to take part.

Started Wednesday nights Pro Qual doing high 2:06's down to a 2:05.3 in very hot conditions 56degress.

Need to find another few tenths of a second to make the field. Not sure I can find it these cars are very hard to drive and it's been over 4 years since I raced one.

Day two is complete with one last chance to make the 50 car grid for this weekend - the 8th V8SCOPS Bathurst 1000.

We will be racing this Saturday at 5pm AEST

I am taking part in the Daytona 24h race on iRacing. I won't be streaming the whole thing from the start and my stint, then the next day when I get back in the car.

I am still struggling heaps with my back which is why I am doing so little of this race and can't sit in the chair for 24hours

This was our first meeting on a damp track. I tried some different tyres on the 2wd and 4wd and I think they worked better.

We made the A-main for both classes again which I was shocked about with having double the entries for 2wd.

I steadily got quicker through the day and we got 3rd in 4wd 13.5t.

I hope you all enjoy the video. Was a blast racing and enjoying the super friendly club members who have been a great help in getting me up to speed with this off-road racing stuff. Which still seems so alien to me.

First club meeting racing with our brand new RWD Team Associated B6.2D in 17.5t.

The car was not perfect but was hard to work out what to do as the track was watered right before our 2WD runs and it was super slippery.

We made the A-main for the first time in off-road racing in 4WD and 2WD. Even had a shot of finishing on the podium in 4WD 13.5t but was taken out near the end of a final.

Sadly racing today was rained out

We had a rocket ship for today as well.

Practice yesterday we were looking super strong. Set the track record for our class and where slightly off the times the next class up did.

Next weekend we have heaps of racing so here's to good weather
