Name change:
As some of you are aware, We announced earlier we have changed our name from wild earth with Mitch and Hollie to ….. Powelling wild!

When we first started our online adventure, we wanted something different and something about the wild earth that we love and are so passionate about.

Even know our name has changed with a new logo, We are still Mitch, Hollie, Renay and Korby who absolutely love crabbing fishing and camping in this beautiful wild earth.

We want to also take a minute to thank and appreciate all of you who like and follow our page!! All our comments and messages are sincerely appreciated.

We chose to start an online business and make the change that we needed to make for us as husband and wife but also to be able to be there for our family with that quality family time.

A bit about us 😊

Back when Mitch and I got together nearly 14 yrs ago, we did not think we were going to be where we are today.

Back then it was called puppy love not real love so everything was peachy and simple, but as the months grew into a few more years on and the puppy love stage was over. Things of course got a little harder I had lost my job (due to two floods in 2011 & 2013 in Bundaberg Qld) yes I had a casual job after the floods cleaning a school with my mother in law.

Mitch was working away and home for weekend wasn’t the best life but we were young 22/23. I had completed my diploma in childhood education. Then one day Mitch said to me come hand your resume here in Gladstone so I did and within 2 days of handing it out I got a full time job.

We moved to Gladstone 10 years ago. Both working full time for someone else, In 2014 Mitch proposed to me and our wedding followed in 2016. August 2017 seen the birth of our first child Renay. Parent hood started a new set of challenges but we were handling it like any first time parents do.

A few years after the birth of Renay, we didn’t realise how much we were losing each other in many ways. We didn’t communicate with each other as much as we should have which caused fights all the time and even little disputes over simple things. We couldn’t really stand to be around each other so Mitch would go out drinking just to be out of the house and that made me mad, our s*x life went down hill to nothing at all because we couldn’t stand each other. We didn’t actually know what we wanted for our life and had no goals for the future. Did we even want to same thing?

It was to the point we were both thinking it was time to move on or out. What wasn’t working was us! As heartbreaking as it was at the time it sucked but we didn’t want to keep going the way we were.

At this point we were also pregnant with our second child and didn’t want our children to suffer from us being how we were.

Untill one day we discovered about the power of having our online business. We were willing to give this a go to repair our marriage and get the spark we once had back. Allowing us to fall in love again, not just be in love.

With the bonus of not working in what we know as a normal lifestyle of 9-5 and for someone else who just looks at us all as a number on the payroll.

So we tried something different, at the start we were cautious and scared it was going to be the biggest scam we had ever seen.

But it’s has been the best decision of our life! It has saved our marriage and we have learnt so much from starting this wonderful program. The best thing I (Hollie) have found again is the love and appreciation for my husband the one I wanted to spend my hole life with!

Now we are not out there big as some of the other online people but we will be one day, Mitch still works but have dropped days and has the opportunity to not lose money at his day job to do things as a family or see his kids do something important like get a award on parade or go to one of their concerts.

I have been able to stay at home and not go back and work for someone else after my maternity leave ended, I’m able to have time with our children and watch them grow without missing milestone or important things.

The above statement is all possible because we have a fully automated program that teaches us everything we need to know about having our online business. Some of these things include;

beach 🏝️.

Wow what a great long weekend we had. 12/13 years ago this was were we basically lived nearly every weekend.

We spent 4 days in this beautiful place, in our 4 days we did lots of 4x4ing and explore finding new camps, new tracks, new day areas we even did a day trip to Woodgate.

Going to sleep listening to the waves every night was so peaceful, the kids even decided it was the peaceful that they slept through the entire night 😀

Waking up as the sun is just cracking the line of the water there is just no better feeling!!!! 3 out of 4 mornings we got up and went for a walk along the beach

With every trip you may do there will always be a negative side. The only disappointment of this whole weekend we had, was the amount of rubbish we found walking along the beach bottles, plastic and wooden forks, bait bags, plastic bags, Styrofoam, random things we found like plastic grates etc.

The worst was toilet paper!! Wow the amount of that laying everywhere u looked! I understand us girls have to wipe when done but wipe them bin it!! Renay and myself placed each bit we used in the bin when done and it wasn’t that hard we even got the 6 yr old to do it!

This is so disgusting and disappointing to see it’s truely not hard to take your rubbish home.

other than the rubbish, this is what we love doing! As a family! making memories!! This is our life we only have one!

Some days it’s hard to push through the s**t we (mums) deal with day in and day out but being able to watch our kids grow, meet every milestone and turn into the beautiful little people with amazing personalities we hope for.

I wouldn’t change the hard days for not a thing in the world!
