The Capital Country Music Association is a community based group of folk who not only love country music but enjoy the nurturing and promotion of particularly young talent by supporting them with performance workshops and monthly showcases with many special opportunities to perform at shows promoting country music and supporting the community.

Congratulations to the 2025 CCMA National Songwriter Awards FINALISTS. Thank you to everyone who entered, what a great contest. We will be announcing the Winners on Wednesday 22nd 10am at the Tamworth Town Hall main stage. This is a FREE event and everyone is invited to attend. See you there!

We have postponed the AGM until next Monday 23rd 2024, to give us time to regroup after President Peg’s illness. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you everyone for your love and support over this past week. Peg is to be released today after being admitted to hospital last Saturday. She was discovered unconscious by her mother whilst caring for her mum after an operation.

We all appreciate your prayers and healing through this difficult time but trust Peggy will have a full recovery and she doesn’t relapse in the critical days ahead.

The diagnosis was Meningitis, meningococcal virus. Our family have all been treated to prevent spread of virus so all should settle down from here now that Peg is in recovery.

Once again we all appreciate your kindness and friendship and look forward to seeing you in the near future.
