It’s with regret that the 44th Toyota Star Maker Wade Forster is now unable to attend this years Groundwater Country Music Festival in Broadbeach QLD.

Star Maker has been fortunate to have generous support of the annual winner being included on the program.

Wade is very disappointed that he’s unable to attend due to rodeo and roping commitments in the USA during the same time.

Star Maker and Wade look forward to future opportunities at one of the best free country festivals in Australia

Caught up with “Duck” Mark Duckworth Director, Festivals and Events, Experience Gold Coast.

Duck and his team are known for their exceptional support and hospitality of artists he books for the Groundwater Country Music Festival Blues on Broadbeach and more.

He’s been so supportive of my involvement with Star Maker booking all the winners each year as well as many of the top 10 which we are grateful for.

Here we stand on the hallowed land of Groundwater in Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach.

2019 Star Maker Blake O'Connor teamed up with Reuben Styles of 20x Platinum selling Peking Duk/ Y.O.G.A for Stagecoach 2024

Blake was a special guest vocalist and harmonica player for Reuben, adding to an astonishing lineup of artists such as Post Malone, Willie Nelson, Morgan Wallen and countless more.

“Playing Stagecoach has always been a massive goal and to play it with my good friend Reuben makes it all the more special," said Blake.

O’Connor & Styles have written many songs, one of which features an Australian Rock Icon (who is still to be revealed).

Star Maker winners James Blundell and Gina Jeffreys are included on the star-studded live album Tour Of Duty the 1999's Christmas benefit concert for the troops, that also featured John Farnham, Doc Neeson, Kylie Minogue, The Living End and more.

It's set for release on April 25 marking the 40th release of the Australian Road Crew Association - ARCA's Desk Tape Series to raise much-needed finances for Support Act's Roadies Fund.
