A woman has finally said yes to her boyfriend’s marriage proposal after he asked 43 times over seven years.

UK tattoo artist Luke Wintrip first proposed to his girlfriend Sarah in 2018, just six months into their relationship. Although she loved him, Sarah wasn’t ready for marriage and repeatedly declined, explaining she didn’t want to commit to something she might later regret.

Undeterred, Luke kept proposing with increasingly elaborate romantic gestures. Over the years, he rented a castle in Prague, planned candlelit dinners, and organized dream getaways, including a horseback ride along a Jamaican beach.

After turning down his 42nd proposal, Sarah promised she would say yes the next time, though Luke would have to wait. When he finally asked for the 43rd time in Greenwich, London, telling her she was the center of his world, Sarah accepted.

The couple tied the knot in May, celebrating their love with a destination wedding in Jamaica.

Trish Bauer always had an “immense fear of dogs”, meaning she only ever fostered kittens in the past.

But one day, she saw a dog rescue page on Instagram post a video about a struggling 12-year-old German Shepherd called Wilbur.

“I’m dying tomorrow in this cold lonely room,” the caption read. 😢

At the time, Trish commented on the post, and the following day she received a message, “He is being euthanised in 30 minutes, can you go and save him?”

Without hesitation, Trish and her 10-year-old daughter Lilly jumped in the car and drove straight to the dog pound.

They adopted Wilbur on the spot and took him to a vet straight away, who quickly discovered a tumor in his neck.

Lilly, who had beaten cancer herself just 4 years before, wanted to fight for Wilbur and the family started his cancer treatment.

Two months later, with a loving family by his side, Wilbur - now named Cooper - was declared cancer-free. Incredible. 👏🙌❤️
