NRL great Johnathan Thurston and AFL superstar Lance “Buddy” Franklin have tackled the famous New York City Marathon as part of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation’s 2025 squad. Thurston crossed the line in 3 hours and 43 minutes, with Franklin just six minutes behind.
