We have just scored the last box in existence of this absolute ripping LP. I know a lot of people have their favourite eras of TOE TO TOE and some times this one gets over looked but we love this album. Every tune is a banger, the production is great and we reckon it’s up there with anything SICK OF IT ALL, or AGNOSTIC FRONT ever put out later in their careers. These are limited and scarce. There’s a stack of sad news happening in the Sydney punk scene at the present. A couple of good peeps are doing it really tough at the moment and one of those legends happens to be our good mate JKO. You’ve all seen Jacko dancing in his y fronts on stage with everyone from THE CHATS, THE BLURTERS, COSMIC PSYCHOS and COFFIN. He is a member of harsh noise collective MILAT, he is one half of Sydney hip hop loosers OLD MAD C***Z and he screams in power electronics act RATLICKER. Unfortunately JKO has been diagnosed with the dreaded big C and has a hectic battle ahead of him. We know loads of people are struggling at this time of year but if you can spare a few bucks click on the link and throw a few at the cause. Thanks!

Just wow!! Brisbane knows how to party. What a fu***ng great show. Thanks to Adam at TEAM GLASSES, Jrod from DRUDGE and THE BEARDED LADY (James, Milli, Rachel and Honey) team for all your help. Last night was absolutely awesome. Extra special thanks to all the bands that played and lent their gear and of course an even bigger thanks to all the peeps that came out to support the bands. Without you the scene is nothing! Cheers also to PUSHER ZINE DISTRO for setting up a stall. There was a bit on in Brissy last night and we didn’t expect such a sick crowd…so thank you so much. PLEASED BE ADVISED : the 4zzz carpark show has been canned by the local council and has now been moved. It’s still ALL AGES and FREE!

Now that was a punks picnic! Seriously that is up there as one of the wildest picnics ever in its near 30 year history. Piles of punters, piles of families, ripping tunes all day and nothing but smiles all day! Shout out to everyone that helped out on the day, we truly appreciate you, all the bands that played, (especially the ones from out of town), lent gear etc you all rule. Thanks to everyone that donated to the go fund me earlier in the year too, without your support this sh*t can’t happen. The biggest thanks goes out to all the punters, without you there is no picnic. An extra special mention needs to go out to all the emerging young punks.. you lot are some of the most passionate, compassionate and respectful mob, your a breathe of fresh air the scene needs, it’s truly a beautiful thing to see. Stay weird, never conform, we totally love you all! The Sydney punk rock community came together and was on fire yesterday! What an absolute buzz!!! Thank you! Video of Backhand!!

The passing of our dear friend Drew has affected many people from all around the globe. Drew was one of a kind, a ying yang of brutality and kindness. A creative soul with an intellect to match the greatest minds on earth. He was a visionary and was never afraid to take risks. He had a mind for lo brow detail, pushing the limits on his creative adventures like his film FLANGE DESIRE, the body of books he wrote and who could forget his Punch and Judy show! Drew came from a world where humour was medicine. He made us all laugh, he made us all laugh our absolute our f**king guts up! This week the laughter has subsided. The world was never big enough for Drew! He was larger than life! I had the pleasure of doing backing vocals on the first two STANLEY KNIFE demos an experience I’ll cherish forever. Thank you for the laughs old mate! I’ll guess you’ll never know what happened to Newtown! I hope everyone is doing ok!
