Our Story
Rancom St Studios are traditional style recording studios, combining large open acoustic spaces and vintage analogue equipment with the latest in digital recording technology. Whether it's tracking live bands, mixing or mastering, we tailor the recording approach to the requirements of the artist. The decision to use 24track analogue tape or Pro Tools HDX is in the hands of the client. We work in a relaxed, comfortable and private environment with artist facilities including spacious chill zone with a pool table, kitchen and internet access. Founded in 1998, Rancom St Studios was built with equipment from Owner/Producer Garth Porter's impressive collection of vintage tube gear in specially designed rooms in Sydney's Botany - 10 minutes from the airport and ten minutes from the CBD with our own secure car park and no-steps load in. Come by for a coffee and check us out.
Rancom St Studios is owned by Australian music royalty, Garth Porter.
