I really enjoy content creation, the creativity to make it entertaining is almost as good for the head as actually being out in nature…being a bit of a visual ‘story teller/filmaker’ I’m thinking of getting back into making more ‘long form’ (short) films, say 30-60 seconds. They’re a lot of fun to do but very time consuming especially in the edit, what do you prefer short one clip scenes or a mini story edited together?

VENT: I hate coming up to my now favourite locations just to find some grubs have been there treating the place like a garbage tip.
Do you treat your own home like this or do you actually clean up after you? Are you the same type of person that chops down healthy ‘green’ trees for firewood and wonder why it won’t burn and then after finally finding some seasoned timber for a fire, head off next day and leave the fires still burning?
At the moment we all have access to a variety of beautiful State Forests and National Parks but that will not go on if people continue to do the wrong thing.
Following the LEAVE NO TRACE principles is not difficult. Make an effort and don’t ruin things for everyone who is doing the right thing.

A quick walk into Granite Falls, I’ll have to come back and check out these falls after a heavy rain. This is an easy walk in, I couldn’t call it hike but it’s a nice spot to just chill.
It’s hard trying to film when I do all my trips solo so I have to rely on some of my gear to help me out. I used the Osmo 4 on this video with my IPhone 15 Pro Max but I’ve just ordered the Osmo 6 with better tracking and features. Look forward to giving it a crack.
All I need now is more than the 4 hours I get once a week to head out, find a new spot and shoot enough to put a good story together.

Steve from Tough Toys reached out asking if I’d like to make a review video of their track bar bracket reinforcement and steering box sector shaft brace kit for my YouTube so this is a cut down version.
It’s a relatively simple install with kits for right hand drive Jeep JK/JKU, JL/JLU, JT and Gladiator.
After the install I found my JK had a more firm ride, I also thought I originally had a wheel balance problem with a shaky steering wheel but after the install that was gone completely. The consensus of opinion was that I actually had the start of a wallowed track bar hole and the beginnings of the death wobbles.
I’d highly recommend this kit to any Jeep owner, it’s a quick and easy install for anyone who knows how to loosen and tighten bolts.
