JONES ARRESTED 👮‍♂️💥⬇️

Alan Jones has been arrested at his home in Circular Quay by NSW Police over historic s*xual assault allegations.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the arrest took place on Monday morning, and Jones was taken to Day Street police station in Sydney for questioning.

Jones’ arrest comes after a nine-month investigation by Strike Force Bonnefin, a team set up within the State Crime Command’s child abuse and s*x crimes squad.

The allegations span back to 1965, when Jones was a 23-year-old teacher at Brisbane Grammar.

Jones joined the newly formed Australian Digital Holdings in 2021, where he hosted a new show titled Alan Jones: Direct To The People. Following the latest series of allegations, Jones was removed from air – he has not been seen publicly since.

BREAKING 🚨🚔👮‍♂️WARWICK AVE CAMMERAY

The bodies of a man and woman have been found inside an apartment on Warwick Ave in Cammeray.

The discovery was made inside the property on sometime around 11.30am this morning.

“Officers from North Shore Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police,” NSW Police said.

“There is no ongoing risk to the community.”

Military Rd shop-keepers want to remind residents of the No Stopping sign in place from Cafe Mosman up to Spit Junction (3:30pm - 6:30pm Monday to Friday) … apparently the Rangers are having a field day booking cars.

Make sure you read the signs when you park, some of them are pretty confusing. WE LOVE LOCAL! ❤️

Closer to home, Mosman Council receives a DA requesting approval to open a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet on Military Rd, Flemings Fabulous Food Store opens in the village (with air conditioning!) and you can buy a block of land at Balmoral (with a 24m street frontage) for $17,750.

Actor and local resident John Meillon cops a $120 fine and loses his licence for 12 months after being busted drink driving, and dear Bob Rogers - then at the height of his career - pleads guilty to a charge of negligent driving and is fined $50!

The Mosman Bowling Club is seeking a mature individual to assist with the operation of its kitchen and Bar.

The role requires approximately 14-15 hours pw, mostly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and includes the preparation and serving of traditional Devonshire Afternoon Teas to the club’s 200 members.

Previous catering experience is preferred but not essential. Applicants should hold or be prepared to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol card.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your morning commute and school run to North Sydney is about to become A WHOLE LOT WORSE with the closure of the Alfred St off-ramp at Neutral Bay.

“An absolute s**t show,” was how one Mum described the impending situation yesterday.

The Warringah Freeway southbound off-ramp at Alfred St will be a “no go zone” for eight months, from November 22 to mid-2025, as part of the controversial upgrade project that continues to disrupt the local community.

AMAZING BUT TRUE 🤗🤯🎯🫶⬇️

Here’s one from our weird and wonderful file. Mosman resident Rob Klaric walked into Lifeline this arvo to check out John Brogden’s new book ‘Profiles in Hope’ - and almost fell over when he saw a photo of himself and another one of wife Leonie FOR SALE!

“Unbelievable” is how Rob describes what unfolded and he takes up the story from here:

“To my absolute disbelief I found these photos we had lost in a house move during the 1990s,” he said.

“One of the pics is of Leonie standing in the backyard of my late mother Vanda’s family home and birthplace in Mussons in the Northern Italy - and the other one is me, standing in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa taken when Leonie and i first travelled and backpacked together in Italy way back in 1988.”

“More than 30 years later we have been reunited with the two Pictures we loved - and lost.”

“Absolutely no words can explain the emotion of finding these photos today and being reunited with them.”
