I’m Laura Greaves, an award-winning journalist, editor and best-selling author based in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been writing for and editing books and other publications in Australia and around the world for 20 years. My novels, Be My Baby and The Ex-Factor, are published by the world’s largest publisher, Penguin Random House (PRH). My new novel, Two Weeks 'til Christmas, hits shelves in November

2017. My best-selling non-fiction book, Incredible Dog Journeys, was published by PRH in 2016 and its follow-up, Dogs with Jobs, is coming in November 2017. I’ve co-authored four anthologies of romantic comedy short stories, too: Autumn Leaves, Winter Heat, Spring Fling and Summer Daze. I have a Graduate Diploma in Screenwriting from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). I’ve had short plays produced, have worked in television and in 2011 was a finalist for the Australian Writers’ Guild’s Monte Miller Award for best unproduced screenplay. There’s not much I don’t know about story structure and character development! In addition to being an experienced writer and meticulous editor, I’m a voracious reader of all genres of fiction and non-fiction.
