In 2018 over 6,000 handmade poppies were installed at the Deerubbin Centre to commemorate the centenary of the end of WWI. The poppies were knitted and crocheted by community members and donated to the installation. Arts and Culture are distributing some of these poppies back to the community to wear for Remembrance Day 2024. You can come in and pick your poppy from Hawkesbury Library Service in Windsor and Richmond, the Regional Art Gallery and Regional Museum.
