Wishing our Director of Client Experience a Happy 5 Year Anniversary at One of the best to ever do it. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do. We are so lucky to have you 🫶🏽 A few highlights from the camera roll + words of reflection from Maddie below:

“Today marks my five year anniversary at Hello Social. In agency years that sounds like a lifetime, but it’s flown past in the blink of an eye.

For a bit of agency lore - in my third week, our founder and I got the Hello logo tattooed, forever memorialising our Christmas party and foreshadowing one heck of a wild ride for our humble but mighty agency. Talk about an origin story.

In the five years since, our agency has tripled in size to a team of 70. We are lucky to work with some of the world’s biggest brands. Together, we are doing some of the bravest, boldest integrated work. In my camp alone, we have thrown a skydiving chicken drumstick out of an airplane, launched the Uber Pride Ride with the Vengaboys as a free, safe and fun way to get around World Pride, filmed with All Blacks and Black Ferns legends on their home turf, explored the inner sanctum of local eats with Mick Fanning, Peking Duk and Tayla Harris, produced CGI dragons, saved the iconic Indian Home Diner with a rave2save and most recently, put on the most epic City2Surf afterparty by turning the iconic Bondi Icebergs pool into a giant ice bath for Uber One members.

I am as proud of the work we did five years ago as I am of the work today. Grateful for the people who have stuck with us and with me. I have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the brightest, most inspiring people in the industry - as colleagues, village partners and clients. Saying “family” is the corporate f-word, but after five years you are. So there”.

The ReFlex x U By Kotex Period Talk Campaign aims to break the silence and spark genuine conversations on period comfort, protection, and progress.

Leveraging Flex Mami’s successful “Talking Card” concept, we created a period edition, featuring thought-provoking questions that dismantle taboos around periods. The cards encourage menstruators to share their experiences openly, and the response has been nothing short of inspiring: the cards have sold out twice, with the third release currently in print. The feedback from educators, parents and students has been overwhelmingly positive.

Backed by insights from a commissioned study into period discomfort, this campaign solidifies U By Kotex’s role as a trusted provider of comfort and protection that keeps people moving forward, regardless of the time of month.

Assuming the delivery label “can’t touch this” caused some chaos at Port Botany dispatch. We’re thrilled to see our recent reactive “Paramount+ Movie Marathon” collaboration with Australian podcasters Toni & Ryan recognised at the Australian Podcast Awards.

Our team leverage AI and social listening daily to reactively identify “magic moments” for authentic brand alignment and have unearthed some absolute beauties over the years. In this instance, host Toni had never been to a movie marathon.

We overheard the travesty and jumped on it, activating a movie marathon for Toni & Ryan plus their 2M fans. The IRL movie marathon hosted at Paramount Pics theatre was an instant sell out, reaching their fans plus millions more via earned and social.

Not only did our Fisher remix of Bob Marley’s “Jamming” go to #1 on the global music charts, it delivered the key 16-30 year old segment required to propel the film to #1 film in Australia and globally... all with zero dollars media investment. 📣 BIG NEWS from Instagram today, introducing Instagram Teen Accounts, a new experience for teens, guided by parents.

The move has been welcomed by Hello Social. We know parents want to feel confident that their teens can use social media to connect with their friends and explore their interests, without having to worry about unsafe or inappropriate experiences.

Instagram Teen Accounts is designed to better support parents, and give them peace of mind that their teens are safe with the right protections in place. Teen Accounts have built-in restrictions which limit who can contact them and the content they see, and also provide new ways for teens to explore their interests. Some of the new features will include daily time limits, private accounts, stricter messaging restrictions, sensitive content restrictions and sleep mode.

Hats off to Hello Create on the launch of their latest key visual design system for the all new Kleenex Luxury Quilts range. The “AirCushion Softness” technology has officially been given the paw of approval by the iconic Kleenex puppy!

Our in-house studio used generative AI to apply natural, subtle yet purposeful motion to supplied puppy statics across 6 second animated assets, avoiding an expensive shoot exercise.

The suite is live in-store, digitally and across digital OOH. Check it out for yourself, we guarantee it will be love at first wipe! Sorry, the toilet humour feels contextually relevant.
