The Village launched their inaugural event ‘Finding my Village’, bringing together over 100 clients, media partners and agencies. The session kicked off with a keynote from Dr Norman Swan on the powerful role a village plays in raising a child and the profound impact community and experiences have on children.

Our Co-CEO Laura Nice was joined by Clare Tsubono, and Matthew Knopp for a panel discussion moderated by Natalie Harvey where they shared honest and funny stories of parenting, whilst working in their respective media and marketing leadership roles. The panel also shared personal experiences, the importance of communication and showing up with vulnerability, along with how a community can support you throughout your sometimes lonely parenting journey.

Last week, a VIP (Very Important Purple) touched down on Aussie shores - a McDonald’s icon, Grimace!

After delivering a teaser announcement at the AFL Grand Final, our Macca’s team rolled out an immersive weeklong OOH takeover across Sydney Airport in partnership with JCDecaux and Sydney Airport, giving Grimace the full celebrity treatment as he made his grand entrance.

Grimace’s tour kicked off with a stop by the Today Show, where hosts Alex and Sarah enjoyed an exclusive taste test of the new Grimace Shake and Meal. Like any A-lister in Australia, he’s been making the rounds: chatting with Kyle and Jackie O, cheering on the NRL Grand Final from the field, and taking in Sydney’s sights with a little help from Broadsheet. All of this, of course, supports a nationwide campaign rolling out across TV, OOH, OLV, BVOD, Digital Audio, Display, Meta, and TikTok!

This week marks the launch of Telstra’s new brand campaign ‘wherever we go’. Creating a world of epic wonder from the screens to the streets, this campaign is anchored in high reaching, high attention, premium environments that evoke amazement and wonder.

The team have done such an impressive job of painting the town orange and blue, with a multi touchpoint outdoor approach, totalling 3,000+ OOH sites! Plus, be sure to tune into both the NRL Finals and AFL Grand Final this weekend to catch the film in action, followed by broadcast, digital and cinema.

This was all made possible by the +61 team and Bear Meets Eagle On Fire, working closely together with Telstra and our media partners to bring Telstra’s new brand story to life, whilst pushing the boundaries wherever we go.

Last week, Lisa Leach (Head of Strategy, Sydney) took part in the Australia Travel Trade Mission panel, hosted by our client partners Visit Britain. Lisa joined travel industry experts Toni Ambler (Managing Director, TTC), James Whiting (General Manager, Infinity Travel) and Laura Elford (Destination Partnerships Senior Manager, Skyscanner).
