Keep showing up for your network so when it’s time to promote, it feels authentic—not opportunistic.
You can’t ghost your network for months and then pop back in asking them to buy your book. That’s not a relationship—that’s a transaction.

Whether you’re writing a business book, building your brand, or planning a launch, showing up consistently matters.
Comment. Share insights. Be generous. Stay visible.
Then, when it’s time to promote your book, it feels like a natural next step—not a random ask out of nowhere.

These are the people who are genuinely interested in your message—those who’ve followed your writing journey, shared your posts, replied to your emails—they are the ones who will talk about your book, recommend it, review it, and help it grow wings.

You don’t need thousands. You just need the right few hundred, built with intention and nurtured over time.

So start early. Show up consistently. And build a book community that believes in your message as much as you do.

When you publish a business book, you're not just sharing ideas—you’re showcasing your expertise, your style, your values, and your attention to detail. Everything from the tone of your writing to the way the pages are laid out says something about you.

A rushed design, clunky layout, or confusing message can quietly undo all the credibility you’re trying to build. But a thoughtfully written, well-produced book? That builds trust, authority, and connection.

This is where I come in. I help business owners write and self-publish books that don’t just look professional—they feel aligned with your voice and business goals. So when someone reads your book, they walk away knowing exactly who you are and what you stand for.

Your book is your brand in print. Let’s make it memorable for all the right reasons. Get in touch with me

If you’re writing a business book, it’s because you have something to say—something that can shift minds, spark ideas, or open doors for your business.

Impact doesn’t happen by accident.
It takes strategy, intention, and connection—before, during, and after you hit publish.

So ask yourself:
- Who do I want this book to reach?
- How can I start showing up for them now?
- What kind of legacy do I want this book to leave?

Vegemite Way.

This is for real.

Who would have thought?

I took this photo when I was in Melbourne last week.

And, as a New Zealander...I am a Marmite girl.

Let’s be real: if you’re not willing to get out there and talk about your book, why would anyone else be?

The truth is: people can’t buy a book they don’t know exists — and it’s your job to make it visible. That doesn’t mean you need to be salesy or pushy — just intentional and consistent.

Your book launch is exciting, no doubt about it. But if you want to actually sell your business book? That starts way before launch day... and keeps going well after.

Here’s the thing:
- Your book launch is not your marketing campaign.
- Selling more books takes a plan, not just passion.
- Most authors lose steam after 2-3 months. Don’t be that author.

Whether your goal is to grow your profile, land speaking gigs, or boost your business — your book marketing needs to run for at least 12–18 months after the launch. Otherwise, those boxes of books might just become garage décor. 😉

Trying to be Superwoman in your business and life will eventually catch up with you. And when it comes to writing a business book? Same deal.

You don’t have to do it all alone — in fact, you shouldn’t. The best books are born from collaboration: strategic support, sharp editorial input, and someone to help carry the load so you don’t burn out before chapter three.

Whether it’s ghostwriting, coaching, editing or just someone to help you structure your ideas — building a strong book is just like building a strong business. Surround yourself with good people who get it, and the whole thing becomes a lot more doable.

If you're a consultant, business owner or board director, here's a question for you:

What if your next client, media interview, or keynote came directly from your book?

A business book doesn’t just sit on a shelf — it works for you. It builds credibility, creates visibility, and keeps your message out in the world long after the launch party ends.

Some of our clients are still using their book to grow their business 4 years on. That’s the power of writing something that truly reflects your expertise.

Got something worth sharing? Maybe it's time to write the book.

A well-written book is more than just words on a page — it’s a clear, powerful way to show your peers, your industry, and the world that you know your stuff.

It helps you go from being in the room to leading the conversation.

If you want to be seen, heard, and recognised for your expertise, a book can open doors you didn’t even know were there.

Curious about where to start? Let’s talk.
