To all my fellow pet parents!

Today is a special day; it's National Pet Day 🐾

Celebrating our loyal, cuddle loving, cat chasing dog Henry. The pic is him as a pup; swipe right to see him as an older man and wrapped up in my daughter's blanket - he's incredibly tolerant 😂

And not forgetting our pretty lady cat, Indigo, the biggest scaredy-cat ever but the fastest 🤣 [still never caught by Henry] 🙄

How are you? RUOK?

With never-ending lockdowns, homeschooling, and not seeing loved ones, these are really challenging times and now more than ever, we need to check in with each other.

I'm OK. I've been off the social media for the past year as I've been building a house. Tbh it has taken every last bit of creative energy I have, which I somewhat naively didn't expect.

It's been a fantastic experience, and I've learnt so much but also stressful, overwhelming at times, and decision fatigue is a genuine, if first world problem.

And Covid threw an extra curveball with construction pause and delays, but we're almost at the finishing line, and I'm looking forward to getting back to some kind of routine.

I couldn't have done it without my wonderful friends and family's support. Having someone to talk to makes such a difference, so if you're struggling right now, check-in with a friend, a problem shared is a problem halved after all.
