Traditionally, sports fandom has been passed down through generations. However, a recent study by Morning Consult shows a shift: only 18% of Gen Z report attending a live sporting event in the past year, and a third don't watch them on TV.

This doesn't mean Gen Z isn't interested in sports – they're massive content consumers! The challenge lies in bridging the gap. Leagues and media outlets need to find innovative ways to:
