Conner Coffin barreling waves accompanied by dolphins
There are few things more incredible than watching Conner Coffin barreling waves during the Margaret River Pro heat last Saturday, accompanied by a pod of 5 dolphins. Coffin beat Jesse Mendes with a 12.33 to 9.2. It was also a great day for big names Jon-Jon Florence and Kelly Slater, who won their round-three heats in the six-to-eight foot conditions at The Box.
“It was insane,” Kelly Slater said. “There were like six dolphins in the lip. I thought one was going to get pitched. That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in my life.”
