It’s true what they say, no one really it’s the cake (and in this case, the donuts were almost the first to go).

Wedding cakes are beautiful but can be wasteful and expensive 😭 So sometimes it’s smarter to have a smaller/simpler cake and offer other desserts with it ✨

Wedding tip of the day: have your celebrant or someone at the ceremony make sure all the seats are filled! Especially the aisle seats!

From all the weddings I’ve worked at, I’ve noticed that guests love to leave a seat between themselves and the next group, or even sit all the way in the back when there are seats closer to the front 😂

I don’t care what reason it is that they have, but I always make sure that every single seat is filled or at least everyone has to shuffle over and fill up the aisle seats otherwise it’ll look empty or scattered in your photos!

For Maddy’s wedding, we had this exact issue and I asked all her lovely friends and family to shuffle around and they were lovely enough to oblige! ☺️ (in the third photo you can see spare seats on the end instead of on the aisle).

These small details make the biggest difference and I love undertaking these odd tasks no one thinks about 😜
