MyCare Network had the sincerest privilege and honour to attend the National Multicultural Health and Wellbeing Conference at Sydney Hyde Park Sheraton on 21-22 November 2023.

We were so proud to attend a collaborative event between Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia - FECCA and the Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative to produce key interviews about essential multicultural health needs, focusing on how health providers and health systems can achieve better outcomes for culturally diverse communities all over Australia.

World Hearing Day is held on 3 March each year to raise awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care across the world. Check out the dos and don’ts on how to keep your ears healthy.

Do:
Use earplugs in noisy places
Check your hearing regularly
Wear your hearing aids regularly, when advised
See a doctor if you have ear or hearing problems

Don’t:
Put cotton buds, oil, sticks or pins inside your ears
Swim or wash in dirty water
Share earphones or earplugs
Listen to loud sounds or loud music

Attention to the symptoms:

Increased abdominal size or persistent abdominal bloating
Abdominal or pelvic (lower tummy) pain
