Daniel’s beautiful cake ‘Cadeau Rose’ has received the highest points from the jury and has been crowned the winner!

“Cadeau Rose” is a refreshing entremet with layers of grapefruit crémeux, pistachio sponge, salted pistachio crisp, fresh strawberry compote, and lychee ganache in a lemon, yogurt, grapefruit mousse.

Daniel founds his love for pastry after competing in Season 1 of 'Zumbo's Just Desserts' and after placing 4th in the program, he dedicated his time to perfecting his pastry skills. In 2020 Daniel became Head Pastry Chef of Bendigo's prestigious Alium Dining where he developed a full a la carte and patisserie menu. You can now find him collaborating with local businesses to deliver unequaled pop-up dessert degustation experiences.
