Last December just before Christmas I embarked on a journey to join Polaris in the creation of what I believe is their best body of work yet. I’m so proud of these dudes and of what they have accomplished for this record. Thanks to the lads and for having me 🙏🏼

The third photo of these dudes was taken around 8-9 years ago around the time I started becoming friendly with Ryan. He always pushed and believed in everything I did after we met. Always encouraging me in his own way to get better and step up because he loved what I did. Today I really miss him. He put his heart into the riffs and solos you hear on the record and I thank him for letting me be apart of what is his last body of work. Ryan forever 🖤

Hey bro. I’ve been tossing up whether to do this and I feel it’s finally time to open up.

Thank you for 10 years of love and friendship. Since we were young, we would sit in the car blasting new Periphery songs and Polaris demos, go for the most expensive dinners, play guitar til the sun came up and talk about all the gear, new plugins and mixing tricks.

You were always so critical of my songs and productions; it made me want to get better and better. I remember sending you a demo that I was unsure about, you responded saying “damn, can’t fault this” and I thought I had finally got the thumbs up from you until you said “but stop chopping the ends of your guitars.” You haven’t any idea how many times those words have played in my head, and it made me want to be better, always. Looking back now, you just wanted the best for people and most importantly your friends.

We didn’t end on the best terms, and it is something I will regret for the rest of my life. I just want you to know how sorry I am, and my love for you never really faded, even though it may have been hard towards the end.

Although we had our ups and downs, your friendship to me meant and means the world. You’re a really special guy, an immense talent, and a guitar legend.

Love you forever and always, and miss you like crazy 🖤
