Up at 8pm Posted • Long live The King as This Sun is Far From Set! Rain, hail, shine or swine flu we out riding the airwaves delivering the sound you need for your speakers on One Stop Hip Hop via Seymour FM 103.9 Tunein Radio & The Community Radio Plus Apps that are free downloads so stop sleeping! Last week Elefant Trak’s celebrated 26 years of releasing music as well as closing the doors on their fine record label that has been a pillar locally since the early 2000’s so continuing on from last week I’ll dropping the original versions of the tracklist that we heard on the night from the second half of the night as it was a true spectacular with half time intermission and all that as well as tracks I feel were missed opportunities not seeing live amongst the highlights! Also once again, we are featuring the outstanding release from Phil Gektor titled ‘War Lizard’, the first album from ‘Phil Gektor’ in 10 years following up the classic ‘Real Heads Don’t Listen’ as we ran out of time last week and I’m wanting to give you more of that lemon pepper the hot stepper has to offer so a true Pt. 2 type of show tonight!

Links go live when we do so watch this space and drop a comment for requests, shouts-outs and all that algorithm bizness! Much love, Peace!

GVL has another cracker of a game this weekend for it's Streamer game of the week. 2nd placed Shepparton Football Netball Club host 4th placed Mooroopna Football Netball Club in a crucial game for both teams. It should be a great game called by the team at ONE FM Shepparton Radio.

The other game on Seymour FM 103.9 will be the 9th placed Seymour Football Netball Club vs 5th placed Mansfield Football Netball Club. The Lions are looking to have a strong second half of the season while the Eagles would love to break into the top 4.

Coming up tonight on ONE STOP HIP HOP Posted • The King Is Dead but an Elefant Never Forgets. At an all-time high after last nights extravaganza, mixed emotions to say the least as we celebrated the closure of one of the pillars of Hip Hop & Rap in Australia and it’s extensive history, ! Tonight on One Stop Hip Hop from 8PM AEST broadcasting via Seymour FM 103.9 & streaming via Radio & The Community Radio Plus Apps we take the words spoken by , , , , Solo of , , , , , and countless others preforming at The Melbourne Recital Hal who poured not only their hearts and souls but many a tear as they flowed from eyes, we take the legacy and energy and continue in the sand where the giant footprints stopped forging the path forward, onwards and upwards by recreating to some degree the outstanding tracklist preformed, cuts I would have loved to heard and considering the roster some huge opportunities missed as well as try and describe the beauty and love that was on display for the night! Our only new music feature tonight comes in the form of Phil Gektor’s new album ‘War Lizard’. ‘Duck and Cover Themes, W**d and Lemon Pepper, some might say there’s nothing better whilst others might question and leave the suggestion of therapy at least but ‘War Lizard’ by Phil is a shining example of the level of heat needed to be brought by a dish straight outta ‘retirement’ best served on the platter by the hot stepper, again, Gektor’s back with the wraps’ and we’re dishin’ them joints out tonight to be sure to get down with the sound!

Here’s a good reminder to think about our elders. Do you know of elders who might need a look in, a phone call or visit to see how they’re going? Today could be your first step to help an elder out. As we all age we want to
be treated with respect. How will you mark this awareness day?

June 15th is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD)

At least one in six older Australians experience elder abuse in their lifetime. It can happen to yourself, or an older person you know.

Elder abuse is a crime. Victoria Police treats all reports of abuse against older people very seriously.

We define elder abuse as any act by a trusted person or a family member causing harm to an older person. It can happen once or repeat over time.

Victims often hide the abuse as they feel ashamed or scared. They may be dependent on their abusive family member or trying to protect them.

For more information on Elder Abuse and how to report it please visit:

Round 10 GOTAFE GVL Football couldn't get any better!
The main game for broadcast on Streamer & ONE FM Shepparton Radio sees 5th placed Mooroopna Football Netball Club take on 7th placed Euroa Magpies Football Netball Club. The Cats can't risk a loss which would make their ladder position shaky, while the Magpies need a win to keep threatening for the finals.

Also on Streamer the league will be covering the much anticipated top of the table clash between Echuca Football Netball Club and Shepparton Football Netball Club. This should be a ring-a-ding-dinger! Note, there will be no commentary with this game.

Radio Mansfield 99.7FM will cover the 4th v 3rd Mansfield Football Netball Club vs Rochester Football Netball Club clash which is another huge clash.

Seymour FM 103.9 will be covering the important clash between Shepparton United Football Netball Club and Seymour Football Netball Club where both teams will be trying to prove themselves in a challenging season to date
