PARLIAMENT HOUSE LESSONS
Schools in with our excursion off to Parliament House. Although we couldn’t take any photos inside we did have fun checking out all the info, Moozy walking down the beautiful steps inside pretending she was a princess going home from the ball. Sitting in the chairs pretending to make new laws and debating across the room, watching how hard the security work here and of course sitting in the chairs having a sleep like some of our politicians do. 😆.
JUGIONG MEMORIAL PARK & SHOWGROUNDS
Beautiful spot right on the Murrumbidgee River. Camping is a gold coin donation and you can stay up to 7 days. A popular spot but plenty of room with access to toilets. Lovely little community!!!
We will definitely be coming back 👍
NED KELLY COUNTRY.
Well we have hit Ned Kelly Country and checked out his restored childhood home. Loved the story that they have put together with this- it’s so cool to see where he grew up and played. On to Glenrowan for the next chapter of bushranging…..

Gorgeous day enjoying Bells Beach and watching a few locals catch a few waves👍
It’s crazy how many people pull over on the side of the road to get the Great Ocean Road happy snap. 😀. And yep we joined the list as well 😝

How talented some people are. Check out these amazing carving statues that are next to the pub. Such amazing skills and detail of the animals in the wood! Loved it!!

Such a beautiful hike through the forest and an awesome waterfall at the end of the trail. Seems so untouched!!!
MAITS REST RAINFOREST WALK. VIC
What a tranquil 800m walk through the cool rainforest. So many massive fern trees and Myrtle Beech trees. So quiet as well! A great stop to stretch the legs and see the rainforest next to the main road 👍
THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD LOOKOUTS
Island Archway lookout, Razorback lookout, The Wrecks lookout and Mutton Bird Island lookout are simply stunning. The cliffs are amazing against the ocean currents. The walks provide history of the area which was so incredible to read about the heroes of the past. Loved every minute of the natural beauty ❤️
THE GROTTO - GREAT OCEAN ROAD
This beautiful window looking out to the ocean was spectacular. A short walk down and simply stunning!!!
PORTLAND TOURIST PARK VIC 🐨
If you want to stay in a caravan park that is amongst nature, Portland Tourist Park is the place to stay.
With so many resident koalas in the park, it is a wonderful place to stay with your kids. They even will plant a tree for the koalas if you manage a selfie with the koalas and post on their page. 👍
So many kids activities too, with treasure hunts and kids games as bonus extras. Loved it ❤️
Mackenzie Falls
Beautiful Mackenzie Falls . A steep walk of steps down to the base of the falls, but well worth it. You can follow the path along the edge of the water/creek to Fish Falls which is also magical. 👍
BALCONIES AND REEDS LOOKOUT
The Grampians are so big with so many beautiful lookouts. The views are awesome with short walks to the Balconies and Reed Lookouts. 👍
BEAUTIFUL BELLFIELD
Making our way to the Grampians we decided that this campground was a perfect place to base ourselves for exploring the mountains.
Wood fired dinner bbq style with the creek not too far away. Loved it ❤️
ROOK WALL LOOKOUT- Mt Gambier
A steep step up along the Rook Wall to check out the views of Blue Lake @ Stephen Henty Lookout. 😅
BLUE LAKE - MOUNT GAMBIER
The iridescent blue lake was spectacular!!! Such a mesmerising experience, you just couldn’t stop looking at it. And the lookout is so close to the car park. Loved the natural beauty ❤️💙

Fishing at Barkers Rocks, Weeman hooked this fellow, bring on seafood for dinner 😀
HELLO SOUTH AUSTRALIA 👋
Straight back to Adelaide to check out the city before we head to the coastline again. We stopped at the Torrens River for a squiz and had lunch @ the botanical gardens. The lily pads were HUGE!!! 😀

We had to get a pic of the Centre of the Centre Marker @ Ghan whilst we stopped for lunch.
KINGS CANYON NT
The Kings Canyon Rim Walk and Garden of Eden Walk were amazing!!!
6.4kms of breathtaking views over the canyon as you walk along the top around the canyon and then down into the bottom where the water is. There was a few stairs to climb up and down but definitely worth the climb!
SUNSET AT THE ROCK 🤙🌅
Beautiful sunset and Ute side bbq dinner over Uluru! Kids and Pauly had the best views - on top of the tinny on top of the Ute! 😀.
WOOMERA 🚀🚀
Needed a top up on water on our way to the Red Centre and we came across this sneaky little town. We were surprised to see across the road from the public toilets and water fill up point, that there is a Rocket park that displays all of the military testing of rockets that occurred in this area. So cool and fascinating for the kids to see, from the lifesized rockets to remains of debris from unsuccessful missions. Very interesting.
PORT LINCOLN NATIONAL PARK
Beautiful Drive out to Port Lincoln National Park to see the stunning beaches.
REPLICA OF MASSIVE SHARK- STREAKY BAY 🦈
If you’re at the Shell Roadhouse in Streaky Bay, pop in and check out the replica of the Great White that made the world record caught on 24 kg line. It’s more than 5m long and weighed in at 1520kgs.
They also have other giant crabs and crayfish displayed. Pretty cool to see!!!

❤️ Streaky Bay!!!
First time raking for Blue Swimmers, and there was plenty to choose from! Just out the front of the Discovery Parks Caravan Park on the beach were these fine specimens found in water up to the knees.
We also had a play off the jetty with the dilly pots which was also very successful. Lots of fun and good tasting!! 😜

CAPE LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK
Beautiful beaches and coastline in this national park. We stopped for lunch and a swim @ Lucky Bay. You can drive down on the beach and park up. It’s pretty popular though and when you see the scenery, you will know why 😜
1St KING GEORGE WHITING 🎣
Moozey managed to land the 1st King George Whiting of the trip at Bandy Creek Esperance coming in at 32cm. Hopefully plenty more to come 🤞
WAVE ROCK AND HIPPOS YAWN 🦛🥱
Catchin’ a wave without even getting wet!
Such fun to see, The bottom one is sooo tall, and there is another smaller wave up top. Definitely worth the walk to see them. The rocks are slippery so wear ya joggers.
We then walked the walking trail to Hippos Yawn which was pretty cool. You can drive to this rock formation if you aren’t up for the walk.
WATERFALL BEACH WA
Not too far from Elephant Rocks is Waterfall Beach, where you can find sneaky little waterfalls flowing onto the beach. There was hardly anyone here so we practically had it to ourselves 👍

Kates cottage- Glenrowan Ned Kelly Museum The museum that has so much info on Ned Kelly and his gang. The building is the old police quarters and there is heaps of memorabilia as well as replicas. KALGOORLIE When visiting Kalgoorlie you have to go and check out the Superpit Lookout, where you can see the Gold mine working. Such a large hole in the ground!!! It is crazy to see how many trucks are moving around like little matchbox cars. STOCKYARD GULLY CAVE TUNNEL Awesome caves and tunnels to explore. The tracks in were hot but once in the caves it was so nice and cool. KALBARRI’S BLUE HOLES 🐠 We had heard that The blue holes was amazing for snorkeling. We headed out to try our luck and arrived to a beautiful beach full of rock pools. Unfortunately the wind was blowing that hard that we were sandblasted walking down to the water. The water was very icy 🥶 so we decided to check it out on the next lap 😁.
