If our government is allowed to censor what can and can’t be said, our democracy dies. No politician should restrict the right of citizens like you to hear ALL sides of the story. But right now, Labor, the Greens and the Teals are planning a new law to let the government decide what’s ‘true’...

Firenze (Florence) uses a different approach to garbage removal.

1. Large bins in the street serve several units. Residents (often AirBNB tenants) place their rubbish in the large bins. Cost reduction would be significant.

2. More alternatives are provided. Plastic, glass, etc

3. Bins are emptied in the early morning, unlike in Sydney where Garbos seem to prefer peak hour.

Bus station only on one side of the road, saves the cost of a bus station, as the bus simply turns at a roundabout.

Sydney could be cheaper and congestion free if NSW Transport was smarter.

The story on 2 Kingston street

This is a great initiative, seen here in Cambridge UK.

It shows the inhabitants of this address in 1891, Sarah and Margaret and what they did for a living.

Each house on the street has a similar story.

Stories are put together by local schoolchildren under the umbrella of creatingmycambridge.com

This teaches relevant history, engages kids with the local community and many other positives.

Could we do something like this in Ryde?

Laxale says 'No' to your Voice

Jerome Laxale doesn't allow comments on his posts.

We strongly disagree with MPs or Candidates being allowed to ban comments. How can voters ask questions of his posts?

We take a very dim view of politicians who cut off their electorate, imposing a monologue where we all just have to suck up whatever he says.

Therefore, until proven otherwise, we automatically assume that all of his posts are .

For example, did you know that he was a citizen of 3 countries all the time he was Mayor? Yep. Ryde's Mayor was a citizen of France and Mauritius and Australia - all at the same time., He only renounced French and Mauritian citizenship in 2022. We didn't know either - and because he bans comments, we couldn't ask.

What options are available?
1. Ask questions on Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeromelaxale
2. If a post appears to be BS, and you have no way to clarify the claim, then report the post the Facebook as .

We like Agincourt road, named after:
"A village in northern France, site of a decisive victory of the English under Henry V over the French in 1415"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Agincourt

We also like Badajoz road, named after the siege of Badajoz (lower left) and Balaclava Rd named after the battle in the Crimean war - the Battle of Balaclava included the famous Charge of the Light Brigade, a complete and utter stuff-up which cost many British, French, Ottoman and Sardinian lives.

Labor’s campaign for Albanese’s risky, divisive Canberra Voice keeps sinking lower into the mud.

A social media account authorised by North Sydney Labor MP Jerome Laxale has been caught telling Chinese-Australian voters that if they did not support the Voice to Parliament they would be seen as being in favour of “war” and “Nazis”.

This kind of sneaky, gutter politics proves that Labor’s Yes campaign has no arguments, just insult.

This is the phone number to the electorate office. I rang them up twice to politely complain and they hung up on me both times. I would advise everyone to get on the phone to these people and let them know how disgusting they are

Vote No Australia.
