The T20 World Cup series is well under way and STS have been working closely with TATA to provide the distribution for this event.

Although each match is coming via STS, our SNG trucks had to make the trip to Hobart and Geelong to ensure the feeds from these venues were sent back to STS MCR for diverse delivery via satellite and fibre.

Sydney Teleport Services have been supporting Sunset & Vine & BT Sport UK for the Ashes Series with multiple video paths via Sydney Teleport’s Interconnect fibre network.

With the 5th test moved to Hobart and limited fibre connectivity available, STS deployed one of our dual antenna SNG trucks to deliver the multiple paths required, with multiple layers of redundancy, ensuring a seamless operation to our clients Sunset & Vine & BT Sport UK.

Even in remote areas STS is able to provide internet access. Our client needed internet for a project in the country where there was no access to 3G, 4G or 5G. Using one of our SNG’s we provided symmetrical internet which was vital in our clients ability to perform data transfers, make phone calls, send emails and ultimately complete the project successfully.

Just another example of the wide ranging services STS has to offer!

We had a number of our crew at STS perform a ‘mini OB’ on Wednesday for the NSW Police Remembrance Day. Providing switching, technical support, uplink and delivery to all networks as well as streaming to the NSW Police YouTube channel.

We couldn’t be happier with the result and are always thankful for the chance to be involved in the remembrance of all the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for Australia.

One of our SNV’s travelled first thing on Saturday morning and spent the weekend assisting Nine Network Australia in the delivery of their coverage of the lost three-year-old in putty.

We wish AJ Elfalak and his family all the best and a speedy recovery.
