NO TIME TO TRY GIG-HUSTLING?

STOP GIVING THIS EXCUSE, START DOING THESE!

✨️WAKE UP EARLIER
Waking up an hour earlier every day will force you to sacrifice on your sleep, but with 365 extra hours in a year, you can accomplish a lot more.

✨️GO TO BED LATER
An alternative to the first point, you can try sleeping an hour later than usual if it is harder for you to wake up earlier in the mornings.

✨️USE YOUR LUNCH BREAK
No one takes an hour to eat their lunch. Fuel yourself quickly and use the remaining time to get things done with your side hustle.

✨️CUT BACK ON RECREATION
Cut back on the time you spend watching movies, tv shows, and browsing social media. Use entertainment as a way to reward yourself completing tasks related to your side hustle.

✨️USE PRODUCTIVITY TOOLS
Productivity tools such as Buffer, Trello, Evernote, Hootsuite, Planoly, and many more help you save time and get more things done.

✨️LEARN TO SAY NO
At times, you will have to say no to those hangout sessions with your friends or any other social invitation to work on your side hustle.

✨️OUTSOURCE
You don't have to do every single task yourself. Reach out to your friends or family who may help you out. Hire someone externally if it helps you save time and if you can afford the costs.

Popular or unpopular opinion: Hustle culture is toxic?

My take: Hustle culture is the collective urge to work excessively; to be better than everyone else, and work longer and harder to be at the top of our game. It has reached a point where if you spend time on anything non-work related, you feel guilty. It also promotes sleeping less so that you work more.

Working hard is different from overworking. Working long hours and multitasking lowers productivity and kills creativity. You can not sacrifice your health, sleep, and your personal life for the hustle. Like all things in life, you need a balance.

Stay humble, and never forget your struggle.

In the age of social media, boasting and bragging are considered normal. Humility is frequently associated with being too passive, submissive or insecure. But, really, this couldn’t be further from the truth. 🤔

Instead, humble people are quite the opposite—confident and competent in themselves so much that, as a result, they seek to self-actualize by helping others. Humble people don’t feel the impetus to boast about themselves but instead let their actions speak for themselves. 🔥

To be humble is not to think less of oneself but of oneself less. 💯
