We had an amazing trip to Swansea, and it’s too good not to share!✨
🚙Day 1:
We traveled from Port Sorell to Swansea, with a fun stop at Campbell Town’s A little piece of heaven and the park for the kids.
Upon arriving at Swansea Beach Chalets, we were warmly welcomed by the most accommodating staff. Our chalet, perfectly set up on the waterfront, had ample room for the kids to run around. The views and the peaceful surroundings reminded us how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world.☘️
We settled in and walked to Bushmill Tavern for a delightful meal.
Day 2:
Awoken by the sound of our children giggling, we watched the beautiful sunrise and listened to the waves crashing.
A delicious breakfast at Alimento fueled us for the day.
We took the kids to the park in Swansea, where we discovered the beach library. We all had fun playing tennis, kicking the ball, and building sandcastles.
Next, we visited Spiky Bridge and then headed to Kate’s Berry Farm for ice cream and, of course, some chocolate.
Back at the chalet in the afternoon, we enjoyed a couple of drinks and ordered pizza from the pub for dinner.
Day 3:
We witnessed another spectacular sunrise, with the sea mist surrounding the Hazards.
After a quick run for coffees at Alimento we packed up and headed to Bicheno. The kids had another play at the park!
We stopped at the Lobster Shack for a delicious seafood lunch. The place is set up so well, with a rustic charm and an awesome ambiance.
After lunch, we walked to the Bicheno Blowhole, which offered some great photo opportunities. Followed by the drive back to Port Sorell.
We had beautiful weather and the best time at Swansea Beach Chalets. Our only problem was not having enough time to explore more!
