Instagram has been spoiling us with new updates and features recently!

Let's start with the good news... for anyone who does not enjoy creating Reels you can take a big sigh of relief as the head of Instagram has confirmed that reach for reels and photo posts has been balanced... so if you prefer making single photo posts or carousel photo posts... go for it!

And in other news...

- you can now schedule your Instagram posts directly on Instagram without needing to use a third party app 🥳

- You can also add multiple links in your bio where you could only previously have one.

- And finally, if you do like making Reels, you can now add "topics" to your creations... similar to hashtags, it will help your videos reach more of your ideal clients.

Just 8 days ago, Australia saw news disappear from feeds as Facebook put a widespread ban on content coming from Australian news outlets. This was due to Facebook and the government being in loggerheads over media bargaining laws. This morning it was business as usual as the government has agreed to make changes and news pages have been reinstated.

And to give you a little bit of background about myself, I have a degree in Marketing from a UK university, I worked as a Marketing Executive within a publishing company for over 5 years. Once I emigrated to Australia, I ran a small business. I wasn't completely passionate about this so I decided to draw it to an end so I could create my dream business, which by the way, happens to be this one!!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I live in Western Australia, slightly south of Perth. My husband and I have three children together and I am a step-mum of four, so we have a pretty busy household!! I am a social media addict, if I am not working on it, I am often scrolling or researching the new changes and trends :) I love to travel (which COVID has put on hold), I love to cook and I also sometimes like to just watch Netflix! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
