Vision Recording and Rehearsal provides premium quality rehearsal rooms with high quality recording capabilities as well as a separate state of the art recording studio https://soundcloud.com/vision-recording/vision-recording-examples These have been designed in such a way as to prevent all the nasty sounding frequencies from bouncing around the room whilst allowing a small amount to reverberate a

nd diffuse to give your sound that life it desires. Essentially It wont sound like you are rehearsing in a bathroom yet it also wont sound like someone has thrown a blanket over the band which many other rehearsal rooms suffer from. The walls have been constructed in such a way that the sound rejection between rooms from one band to the next is excellent. Dual doors also means that passage and common area noise is very minimal. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours prior to rehearsal time. Any cancellations made after this time or no-shows will incur a fee equal to that of the room booked.

Twice as Nice is a modern cover band based in WA playing in a wide range of genres, including rock, funk, R&B and soul. While keeping faithful to the music, they make a point to improvise, extend, and funk up their setlist.

Hard to believe that we have been in business for 10 years.

Once a dream that I knew could become something really great, never did I imagine the ride it would take us on.

On the journey so far I have met some incredible people, bands and organizations that truly were the catalyst for Vision lasting this long. Although we, like many businesses, have battled the difficult things throughout the years it really has been the positive reinforcement from others that has kept us going.

In 2013 we came onto the scene with a bang and things got busy fast, which I think was a testament to how we set the studio up. Having said that, it has been great knowing that even to this day there are still new bands and artist discovering us for the first time

Growing up I was such a huge music fan and was always so interested in how the industry worked and how music was made. Now to have hundreds of records produced here and 1000s of bands rehearsed here (even huge international artists we rarely mention) is a big achievement.

I am lucky enough that we have been able to start raising a family while doing all of this, so thank you from all of us.

We are looking forward to the future and really want to thank all the friends, family and new acquaintances that have lent a hand throughout the years.

First rehearsal with the full band!

Death Till Late Club is a new project pulling together members from various bands to play what they describe as soul rock.

While DTLC has only been in the works since the start of 2023, they already have an impressive 10 original songs in their repertoire and plans to gig and record in the near future. With over 25 years of experience as band members and composers, they are no strangers to the process.

Something jazzy 🎷

Baka Gaijin (Japanese for “stupid foreigner” 😀) is a jazz punk fusion band influenced by 70s Japanese jazz as well as 70s prog rock.

The band was formed with the goal of exploring strange, unconventional musical concepts in an accessible and enjoyable way, as opposed to a purely intellectual or cerebral way.

Some behind-the-scenes footage of a promo video for new up-and-coming metalcore band AEONS 🔥

While AEONS has been in the works for a year, the band has officially been in motion for only weeks. Already having recorded their first single, here they are seen producing a promo video for it in our Live Room. What they’ve managed to achieve in such little time is impressive.

The music, reportedly, is driven by emotion - every single compositional decision is made in service of the emotion. Nothing is added without purpose, and nothing is half-assed.

One of our longest-running bands, Glass Castles 🏰

This three-piece has been rehearsing at Vision on a consistent basis for five years(!)

Formulated in 2017, Glass Castles define themselves as a melodic metalcore band with electronic elements. The music leans heavily on themes of mental health, in the hope that those suffering from depression can feel less alone and more validated.

They currently have one single released, a second due to be released next month, and are working on a host of new material for future EPs and gigs!

Magic Chicken Fudgetoe 😃

These gentlemen are seen here recording scratch tracks for their sophomore album, release date to be determined.

With their roots in punk, grunge, power pop and noise rock, this “grunge-oriented beast” has been through a long sonic journey to find a sound that they can define as theirs: loud and abrasive, yet hook-heavy.

Broadly themed as a post-apocalyptic album, this new project will be the heaviest and hardest-hitting they have ever made.

Dead Tooth Hottie, blessing the studio with their fresh new vibes! 🔥

A name with no meaning, this is a band constantly striving for new directions and sonic impressions. Undefined by any particular genre classification, it’s left up to the audience to interoperate what they hear.

Birthed in the wake of the COVID era, Dead Tooth Hottie is making waves. Their explorative sound has gained them significant recognition - their current most popular song, Mall Grabber, made it onto RTRFM’s 100 most played songs of 2022, and was nominated for the WAM Song of the Year in 2023.

Country punk!!

Welcome brand-new alt rock band Sascha Ion & The Elements!

This eclectic trio have been spending the past year ironing out their first EP, Creature, set to be launched at Clancy’s Fish Pub on Friday September 1st! Hopefully the first of many.

Sascha Ion, spearheading the project, is notable for her sweet and intuitive vocal presence along with her unique songwriting style. To her, this band represents to her a grand relaunch of her music career after being away from Perth for too long.

This one’s hard to miss.

Colourful guitars, groovy rhythms, and guttural growls!

You can always catch groovecore band Buried Shallow rehearsing at Vision a week before any big gig. This time, it’s Perth’s monthly metal night Hornography, happening this weekend, July 29th, at Convenients in Northbridge.

This five-piece, formed from the ashes of various projects, draws on a range of influences to create a sound that is not only heavy and dynamic, but also groovy!

Gearing up to release their first EP (self-titled), they vow to put the fun back into metal and to never take themselves too seriously. The fun they have when playing together can’t be ignored.

Exciting times for Mindful Eyes!

After a successful launch of their first EP “Emergency” at beloved, too-soon-to-leave-us music venue Badlands back in March, alt-rock band Mindful Eyes have been turning to unexplored avenues of new wave indie rock in a thriving local scene.

Tonight, Mindful Eyes (or three quarters of it) are seen here ironing out the kinks for their second EP - names and dates to be announced.

As a band, they have spent the past year diligently preparing their original setlist at Vision Studios and stuck with us without missing a beat. For this next EP, however, everything - recording, mixing, mastering - will be done in-house at Vision Studios by us.

Without spoiling too much of this new EP, fans can expect more synths!!
