🌹♥️ Carmen, je t'aime ♥️🌹

What a rollercoaster ride experience it has been getting to learn this role. I can't express in words how much it meant to me to finally perform her onstage. Carmen has been a dream role of mine ever since I started singing. I would never have imagined making my debut for a sold-out audience with a standing ovation at the end. This was a life-changing evening. Carmen, I can't wait to revisit you again.

Thank you to my amazing colleagues, friends and family for all your love and support, I am so grateful to you all. My heart is so full ♥️

Just hanging with my sis, Abigaille 🤪

What an honour it was to debut the role of Fenena next to the incomparable and as well as my incredible colleagues hotea .bass.baritone.

I was jumping in with only 1 week to learn the role and am just so grateful for the support of this wonderful team. The level of artistry around me was so high and just so inspiring and brought out greatness in all of us.

Huge thanks to the amazing for helping me through this last minute jump-in, giving me the confidence to take risks and conducting so beautifully.

Also, my performance was in honour of the incredible Annie Mcfarling, my beloved Melba Mum in Australia. I love and miss you and felt your spirit with me every step of the way. Thanks for always believing in me. RIP.

Gone from us way too soon. Christoph was a huge support to me when I arrived in Germany and started my work in Wiesbaden. He was an incredible musician and kind colleague and I'm going to miss him greatly. Thank you for your wonderful sense of humour and patience. It was a gift to know you. Rest in peace ❤️

Christoph Stiller – musikalischer Studienleiter, Dirigent und stellvertretender Chordirektor am Hessischen Staatstheater Wiesbaden – ist tot. Er starb am Samstag, 17. Dezember 2022, völlig unerwartet im Alter von erst 53 Jahren, kurz vor einer Vorstellung von »Hänsel und Gretel«, deren Musikalische Leitung er innegehabt hätte.

What a whirlwind adventure! Only 2 days ago I was fortunate enough to compete in JSRB Bel Canto Award. What an honour to be chosen as the winner of the JSRB Bel Canto Award 2022. Gosh, I don't have the words to say how much this award means to me, apart from that I spent many years as a student following it from Perth and admiring the great singers who sung in the finals every year. What made the experience extra special for me was singing alongside three fellow West Australians, two fantastic singers- Lachlann Lawton and Jake Bigwood as well as our wonderful accompanist, Bradley Gilchrist. (WA represent 🎉)

Huge thanks to Maestro Richard Bonynge AC, CBE,
Artistic Director Fiona Janes, Bernadette Cullen, Patricia Price, Simon O'Neill, and the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award and Foundation for making this competition such a wonderful experience. Also to all musicians involved, it was such a joy to be home and listen to this outstanding talent from Australia, and experience your talent and beautiful music-making.

It takes a village to raise an opera singer and I am eternally grateful to all of you who have helped support me on this journey. Definitely excited for what the future holds.

And now, back to Wiesbaden to start Hänsel rehearsals!

So grateful to have had the chance to sing in the semi-finals of Operalia 2022. Though I didn't make it to the finals, I definitely feel like a winner 😎! I've had the most wonderful time in Latvia and can't wait to see what's coming next.

Incredibly overwhelmed and grateful! ❤️🌹❣️

Last night, I was awarded first place and best female voice at the Concorso Lirico in Portofino. It honestly hasn't sunk in yet, but I am so grateful to the organizers of CLIP 2022, Francesco Daniel Donati, the esteemed jury, and supporters of this competition for creating this supportive environment for young singers to showcase our talents and help us to start out careers. Also, a huge congratulations to the other amazing singers in the competition, it was so inspiring to be surrounded by so much talent and great singing and just a joy to share the love of opera with each other.

CLIP holds a special place in my heart, not only because of its amazing location, but also the amount of love and care that radiates from every aspect of this competition. Last year, I entered this competition and was fortunate to make it to the Semi-Finals. It was my first time in Italy and I was absolutely blown away by my experience. I even took a photo next to the stage for the final concert in the heart of Portofino and said- next year, I'm going to sing here- and it happened! Literally, my dreams came true 🥹.

Thank you to all the amazing people in my life who supported me to get here and helped this girl from Perth live out her opera dreams. You all mean the world to me. ♥️♥️♥️

Last Werther for this season ❤️🌳.
What a dream it has been to sing this role and share the story of Charlotte at .wiesbaden. I felt my heart swell with love and shatter into pieces every night. Tonight we were lucky enough to be joined by the fabulous who created the most beautiful sound pictures for us to sing on.
I feel just so lucky to be able to play with these amazing singing-actors .hotea . It was a dream

Got my shoulders out because it was sunny for 2 seconds today. Then it rained 🤣. .

Ready for a bit of fun and (hopefully) some sun after a rewarding yet crazy week of rehearsals. Work hard, play harder 🍸🍫💃🏼.

Time to rest and recharge so I can do it all again next week. 💪
