Jonathan (Jon) became interested in magic at the age of 4 from a Paul Daniels magic set which was gift from his grandparents. Since then the interest exploded into an obsession to learn.
From the age of 9, Jon started performing magic to the public on the Christmas train at Churnet Valley Railway, England. He did this every Christmas for 15 years.
Within this time, he went on to perform at parties for celebrities including Sting, Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham and many more. He was also employed at corporate functions such as BMW, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari and Coca-Cola.
Jon is committed in supporting young people to develop their love of magic and he has recently become a sponsor for Youth Future WA.
Jon’s wife Charlene plays a key role in making Global Magic Shop a reality on a day to day basis. With 13 years business experience in fast moving consumer goods, she knows all too well that every order is important to every purchaser and is always developing new ideas to promote the magical concept.
