Contact Shaun here Publishing on Facebook for inquires on the formatting of your MANUSCRIPT once completed.
Formatting an eBook version is as follows:
$150.00 for 50,000 word.
$300.00 for 100,00 words etc. Note: This formatting will allow you to put your manuscript up on Amazon (and draft to digital) as an eBook. However, if you intend on publishing a paperback copy of your book/novel, it will require a special format. You will need two formats completed. This can be done but with an additional charge.
*If you do require paperback formatting, add an extra $50,00 charge to the above price lists. (e.g. It will be $300.00 for 100,000 words plus the$50.00 = $350.00 in total for two completed formats.) This will give you both formats that will be required when uploading your eBook and paperback novel onto the Amazon site.

We're off to one of our weekly writers' group tomorrow to chat about all things books. Shaun put his hand up to publish an anthology at the end of the year for the group. Guess they liked the one published by the Guildford writers group last year. And guess it's time to access our creative side and try to come up with another short story. At least it's only the start of the year. The last ones we did were rushed, done, and dusted in two weeks. Gotta love a day with like-minded people.♥️♥️

Shaun got his first short story published. He goes big deal. I say yippee! Go, you new author. Mines in there, too. Maybe just our writers' group anthology, but they didn't like two of mine. Had to slap my dark fantasy side to the curb and think up a people pleaser, lol.

Shaun gave a talk to the Growrite writers group at the Midland Library WA. Topic; How to publish on Amazon. He created quite a buz with lots of interaction with members. Library discussed having him come back to do another training session on a Wednesday night of his choice, which will help those who work the day shift. Will keep you up dated.

From Debbies Desk
What is best; writing from first, second, third, or fourth person?
This question is discussed a lot when writing groups get together. When my chapter gets critiqued, it is mostly by writers of the first person, so the third person is not a pov of choice. Never mind the fact mine are;
"Third Person Omniscient."
Yep, I head hop. It's a real thing and has a real name. My stories are from different characters who show up and want to be front and centre in what they believe is their story too. (This is where I get the ruler over the knuckles by fellow first and third pov writers).
So, if you are unsure where your storytelling voice fits, the link below might help. But I warn. Be a cowboy like me, and you will have to be prepared for criticism. But hey! If you enjoy it, wear blinkers and block out the noise. It's your story to be told. My like mind readers have never once objected. "YET!" Maybe they will now.🤣🤣🤣. Go figure😃👌❤️
Point of view refers to the angle from which a story is told. It includes the specific character who’s telling the story, as well as the way the author filters the story through that character to the reader.

To motivate my writing journey. SJB has joined a couple of writer groups in our area, and it has kick-started a frenzy to get my first book written. Debs tells me this is the fun bit. I think she's right. The story dump is awesome. I'm completely in the zone when writing. To go back over it and enhance the tale and edit sound like hard work, but thankfully, not there yet. Any tips on moving forward, I'm all ears.

SJB is working on a couple of projects. The last one was secret squirrel, so sorry, we have kept that quiet.
However, it might surprise some that SJB has picked up his own novel. One he started some years back, dusted off the pages, and has continued with the fantasy tale. Plus, SJB is working on covers for a trilogy. With that said, he still has time for a bit of real life in between. Will keep you posted as they develop. Hopefully, give SJB readers a sneak peak of the covers once done.
Sorry, we are not taking submissions at this time. Cheers from Debbie desk.

Publishing for my better half has been a time of great triumphs. Over the past five years I have upgraded Debbie’s website three times (not easy with that someone looking over my shoulder) and published six of her novels, four of them twice over. Yes, you guessed it, she didn’t like the previous covers or titles by other publishers. So, after many podcasts and online courses, I was able to easily design her covers and format all books after another strong edit. I believe the stories are of better quality and the covers now suit the contemporary Urban flair in which they have been written.
In between this task set, I have helped create many other websites and am currently publishing a genealogy, family history which will be private sales only.
I also have another two novels to publish including designing the covers and a children's book. The work keeps piling up now I have my grove on but always have time for my Facebook friends if you would like me to help you with a task or two.
NEW NEWS
Due to Australian’s who are unable to order paperbacks from overseas, I have put a shopping-cart on www.debbiebehan.com so all published works by SJB can be ordered through me, at a more reasonable price.
I hope you enjoy the published work I have ut in thus far, cheers, and look forward to your orders in the future.
