Our Station Manager Paula got a nice surprise today on her birthday from some amazing broadcasters.

We love the the newspaper they had made!!! We especially love the message at the bottom of the page 💜

This year our Station Manager has celebrated 2 milestones:
25 years of volunteering and broadcasting at this station
40 years in this world… or as Paula says “I’m lucky as I have celebrated my 20th birthday twice”. 🤣🤣

*** Celebrating 25 years of voluntary service ***

Please join us in congratulating our Station Manager, Paula Tsakisiris, in 25 yesrs of service to 6EBAFM & the ethnic & multicultural communities.

Paula came to 6EBA FM at age 15 representing the Hellenic Community. Paula them went on to broadcast for all the Greek groups at our station, the multicultural youth & the multicultural women’s programs.
Paula has volunteered on our social & fundraising committee and always puts her hand up first for voluntary work.
Without Paula, our Station would not have remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thank you for your valuable contributions & hope you continue for many years.

Here at 6EBA we always strive to raise awareness and funds for different causes.
Recently we have had guests join us to explain the urgent need for blood and plasma donations.

Our Station Manager, Paula, was recently a donor for a family member with Leukaemia.
Paula will be sharing her family’s story, interviewing others touched by blood diseases, and health care professionals.

Did you know that there is an urgent need for ethnic people to give blood and to be on the donor register?
Did you know that bone marrow transplants no longer require invasive surgery for the donor?

Our Station Manager will be taking part in the world's Greatest Shave. Members of their team will be shaving and colouring their hair to raise much needed funds for the leukaemia foundation.

All donations, great and small, are appreciated.

Due to a major power outage in North Perth, our services have been interrupted.

We have been battling since last night.

While repairs are being done we are without emails and phones (studios and office). The online streaming is currently down.
